I figured we could have a topic devoted to your favorite bands.

I did a search for other topics relating to this, and came up with nothing, so I assume it's alright to do this thread. Some of my favorites:
Audioslave
Linkin Park
Slipknot
Go-Go's
I like any type of punk/rock bands that is current and also any kind of 1980's pop bands.

So what kind of bands do all of you like?

I think it's pretty obvious who my favorite band is. Everybody knows it's Hanson! Right now, I can't get their song called Rock and Roll Razorblade out of my head. LMAO
Though I also have a thing for Nirvana and U2.

Well, I'm not a big fan of bands. I've heard a few songs from Oingo Boingo and so far I reaaaaally like what I've heard. I'm trying to find some of their albums, but I haven't been having any luck.
I don't know if this counts, but I'm a big fan of Elton John and my favorite songs are the ones he did when it was just him and his band, The Elton John Band (¬_¬ bet he stayed up all night to come up with that name). I think his music was best when it was just him, Davey Johnstone, Nigel Olson, Dee Murray (R.I.P. T_T) and occasionally Hans Zimmer.
And I'd probably like Bluesology if I could find any of their albums.

I'm fully a J-pop guy. My favorite bands are:
Mihimaru GT
THC!!
Mr. Children (who are a band, not a solo artist)
When I was into A-pop (tee-hee), my favotie bands were:
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
Johnny Maestro and the Brooklyn Bridge
Journey

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

Actual bands or do solo artists count too? Nowadays it's like people call any music artist or group a band...
Well I like these, and they are bands for sure:
No Doubt
Garbage
Soundgarden
Evanescence
Save Ferris
I'm not too big on bands, but those are my favorites. I'm especially a huge fan of the first two on the list.

I also really enjoy J-pop music. 90% of the music I listen to is J-pop. I love Puffy Amiyumi, Malice Mizer, Ayumi Hamasaki (solo artist), many anime soundtracks, and more.

My current band obsession is with Something Corporate. I just love how they use a lot of piano music in their songs because the piano is probably one of my fav instruments since it's always soothing to listen to. But some of my other fav bands include Our Lady Peace, Puffy Amiyumi (J-pop), Greenday, and Simple Plan (only some of their music though, since sometimes they tend to have repetitive themes in their songs)
