WTF?
Okay, I thought about making this thread for a few months, so I'm finally going to post it. Inspired by the WTF community at Live Journal, please post anything and everything that makes you say 'wtf'?
Here's some weird ones that made me go wtf?
http://www.livejournal.com/community/_wtf/322839.html
I didn't find that one particularly funny like those who replied, but it still made me go wtf. I think that picture spells Photoshop all over it.
http://www.livejournal.com/community/_w ... tml#cutid1
Now that... just no. The zoo really should have had an employee supervising if that kind of crap was going on.
Now it's your turn! Post things that make you go o_O

I honestly thought that the monkey story was a load of bullcrap until yesterday because I read about it in the newspaper and later saw video of it on the evening news.
EDIT: Another story that made it to the news both yesterday and today: A five year old kid in kindergarden who was throwing a tantrum got handcuffed by police in Florida. Her behavior got so bad that the teachers had to send all the other kids to another room. The teachers shot a video of it for twenty minutes. The kid threw a fit, punching and kicking the teachers for almost the entire video and at the end of it you see the police come in and handcuff her. Off camera, the kid was then thrown in the back of the police car and the court said that they would never prosecute a five year old.

Sometimes that's what it takes. I'm willing to bet the parents threw a fuss regardless of how out of control their child was.RoastedTwinkies wrote:

The parents did in fact take a spazz over it and are taking legal action.

"That new girl? She seems kinda weird to me. And what kind of name is Buffy anyway?"

If you're reading this, then you've lost the game.

After being taken to the office and the police's arrival.
Okay, this enrages me. The teachers did EXACTLY what they were supposed to. They gave th girl enough space, but stayed close enough to avoid harm to herself and anybody else. The girl destroyed property, but still, the teachers did not restrain or even TOUCH her, nor did they raise their voices past a stern tone. This is sickening, that there is an actual lawsuit against educators who have to put up with an obvious and complete lack of disicpline from home.
This sort of exact situation is going on in my mentor's kindergarten classroom at the school where I work; only, her student is far worse. This student has actually gone as far as to injure the teacher, causing skin-breaking bites and scratches.
God. I just...*shakes head* Ugh. that girl got EXACTLY what she needed. She needed to see that behavior such as that has CONSEQUENCES. I'm so fucking tired of this sort of thing happening in the school system. I applaud this school's actions.
