I saw something about this on CNN's ticker yesterday, and thought it was pretty WTF, because they made it sound like she was arrested for "killing" her virtual husband. They should've made it clear that she was arrested for illegally accessing a computer, since that actually make sense.

I'm sorry, but no matter what you call it, a fish is still a fish. And there are entire countries whose main exports are fish and caviar, so I don't think this campaign (like many of PETA's) will work.

The whole thing confused me. A'Sea Kitten' is just a plain stupid title. It seems it's just a twisted ploy to guilt trip children into not eating fish.

Their point is that people don't seem to care about fish because they aren't cute and cuddly, like kittens. They're using the name Sea Kitten to bring the point across that if it were something cute like a kitten, more people wouldn't want to kill it, eat it, etc.

In other words, it's an attempt to make people feel guilty, as you said, and realize that "ommggg fish are animals toooo we should save them."

I want to know why it's perfectly okay for every other animal to exist on the food chain, but not us. Last I checked, we're animals, too. The fact that we've evolved to the point of having tools and the resources to catch our food doesn't mean we're any less entitled to eat it.
