That is an interesting point Mr. Quesada made but he fails to realize the people who read the strip in the 80's and went threw his bumblings also grew up with him. Some of them got married as well giving them more in common with the web slinger. Now if they want to revamp spiderman fine I probably wont be reading it. But to do it because they need to target newer readers makes no sense since the movies already push MJ and Peter together to. Most readers know their a couple married or not (movie wise yet) so it just seems to me Marvel is trying hard to be contreversial instead of developing plausible storylines and banishing stuff thats been known to fans for years. Im just waiting for the next step who will they kill off or undo next? Why not target other mainstream families? Oh wait they did that to ive read some of the things they did to the Fantastic Four as well. Good job there marvel im sure this soap opera stuff will go along well for the years instead of the compelling storylines that made it popular </sarcasm>

That story made my stomach twist where the fuck were these girls parents? How in the hell could something like this go down where girls are being forced to do crap like this? The scary shit about this is the guys werent too much older themselves so its just ashame how some youths are capable of such disgusting things. I hope those idiots who are responsible serve as much time though that probably wont help either sigh.

Off with the Steensmas? Although, with police involvement, there shouldn't be as much of a bloodbath as there was in that movie.

That last story didn't surprise me, I've heard many things like this. People are just twisted sickos out to exploit vulnerable people for their own needs.

On a lighter not, Gotta love the bad porno acting (No naughtiness I promise):

Why would you even suggest something like that? Even if he didn't expect it to go through, as a politician he should know that it was bound to offend some people. (I would also like to point out that with the crime rates in the U. S., the weight of the citizens is totaly our biggest problem (sarcasm))

Exactly my thoughts to, lets see first off hes not a skinny dude either maybe he needs to exercise his own control and stop policing other peoples diets. And second miss has enough social and economic reform needs to worry about something this stupid. I just hope this makes people wake up in the next election. Tired of seeing doofuses in office. Lets try passing real bills people please..*grumbles*

*EDIT* forgot to add

Considering resturants have a hard time staying afloat as it is im sure they arent gonna pass up people who are gonna spend money no matter what size they are. That sen needs to </stupidity>

I just thought this was interesting. I wonder what the dogs actually think of it. Do dogs enjoy music? My dog just seems to yip and bark when I play the radio. I don't really know if that means he's happy or mad or just excited.

I didn't realize you were talking about police when you said "Pig" until I started reading the responses.

ADMIN MODE:

Do NOT use offensive terms like that when describing people/professions and the like. I, for one, don't find it funny to call cops "pigs", and it's just as bad as giving a deragatory name to any other group of people.

Don't do it.

ok maybe one of you all can explain this to me.

A friend of mine went to a resturant the other day and saw that one of the waitresses (not the one that served him) was a girl who he totally hates, and the feeling is mutual. He told me that in order to "stick it to her" he gave his waitress a 35% tip when he left the resturant. This was his devious method of getting at the other waitress who he hates.

I've been pondering this all day and I seriously don't get how this does anything to her. Is there something Im missing here?

The only thing I can possibly think of is that they might talk about their tips, and their waitress might say that "OMG, that person was such a great tipper! =DDDDDD"

I still say it was a stupid idea for "revenge". At least the waitress got a good tip out of it.

Okay........ I would start to get worried if someone stayed in the bathroom for more than an hour. I probably would call someone at the three-hour mark. How could you just let someone stay in there for weeks (possibly years)? You'd think she would at least have to see a psychologist. I don't care if the doctor had to come to her and have the session in the bathroom, at least she could get some kind of help. I just don't understand this. I can't decide whether he should be charged or not. What do you guys think?

Eh..I say she's an adult, and responsible for herself. He wasn't keeping her captive there. She could have left whenever she wanted. Being her boyfriend doesn't make him her gaurdian, and therefore, I don't feel he's obligated to be her keeper and run to someone because she's exhibiting strange behavior.

For all we know, he himself could have been some degree of mentally ill, and may not have realized or known that she might have needed some help. She wasn't directly harming anyone or, as far as he knew, herself (she got on and off the toilet, ate, showered, etc, so it wasn't like she was in there cutting herself or something).

Adults have to be held responsible for their own actions, imo.

Is it wrong that I'm amused by the fact that the officer quoted in the article is named Sheriff Whipple?
