I heard that it starts next week and that they'll be a long break in the middle of the season just like with season 8, then it'll continue sometime later. Is that true?

I'm not sure, Peachy, but that'll really suck.

When they did that with season 8, I stopped watching it and missed the other half completely.

But lucky for me, they showed the second half again all in one night. 8)

I kind of hope they do. When that happened with season eight, Canada got all the episodes without a break, and the last half of them came to Canada only three weeks after they premiered. Of course they were shown out of order, so hopefully that won't happen again.

Do you know if the reruns are airing in order this time?

Probably not, because I have noticed that Comedy Central has a habit of just pulling an episode out of a hat and airing it, so it seems. I couldn't say how it is in Canada, though...

To get back on topic, I can't wait for the new season either. I hope they don't go with that long break again.

*smirks* Getting back on topic here, I'm really excited for the new season. I'm sure it'll get to Canada in six months or something like that after it airs in the US. It looks like they're doing a good job with the show so far. Hopefully in the next few years, it won't go the way of the Simpsons where they show the same stupid stuff over and over.

I heard a rumour that Trey and Matt are going to stop after the tenth season.

That would be a good way to end it. Make the tenth season kick more ass than the others and then make it disappear with a bang. Maybe finish it off with another movie or something. But that's only speculation on my part. I have no means to back this up.

That could be just a rumor though. Maybe they will stop, maybe they won't. It really depends on how they feel at the time.

By the way, I caught a commercial last night about the first new episode. It looks like
Mr. Garrison wants to become a woman.
I can't wait to see how this will turn out.

Oh, yeah...   ...that was hilarious...

Though I do have to say that it was kind of disgusting in the beginning, when
Garrison is getting the operation, and they keep flashing to short one second images...that's just nasty.
Mr./Mrs. Garrison is SO funny in this episode! The way he was standing when they first showed him as a woman was hilarious.

But it was even funnier the way he walked away from the kids when he told them what he did.

For somebody who was getting his nuts mutilated, he was pretty damn calm. "Ooh, that stings..."

Yes!! New episode tonite at 10:00!!!

Now for my weekly South Park episode summary.

Title:
Die Hippies, Die
Cartman is the "hippie exterminator" kinda thing, he's going around getting rid of them and locking them in his basement. Stan, Kyle, and Kenny talk to some of them trying to sell magazines, and are converted. Cartman is then arrested for holding 63 people hostage in his basement. The mayor comes and tells him she approved them starting a hippie band festival. It starts, and gets bigger and bigger. Eventually, the people turn to cartman. He says only if he gets this toy and has to make Kyle watch him play with it and never get one or be allowed to play his. He comes up with this "Hippie Drill" to plow through the Hippies, which their band thing is now 14 miles in diameter. He has 3 other people: Stan's dad-scientist, Butter's mom-engineer, and Chef-human sacrifice  They stop the band thing, and the end of the episode: cartman playing with the toy with Kyle being forced to watch.

My favorite scenes:
Stan's Parent's hippie experience.

Chef the "Human Sacrifice." "chef, I can't let you go!" "I didn't voleenteer!" "fine, GO!"

Cartman's Basement: NO! you can't come out! Here's a guitar, and some joints! *next scene, all the hippies are high and listening to the guitar*
Not as good as, 'Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina' but still really funny.
-Adam Picard-
Blake? oh, like a coffee break!!
Poet? What is that? Is it tasty? Is it a popular new snack? Usagi, Stars 179

James: For some reason I'm seeing you in a nurse's uniform...

Yeah, that was one of the funniest lines in the episode. A part I liked, though was when
Cartman was giving his speech to the people in the rec center, and just before he got the last word out, his face contorts, and for a second it looks like something is going to happen, but then he sneezes. That was just funny.
I thought the funniest part was...
When the mayor looked out her window and saw all the hippies in the concert.

She said, "My God...what have I done?!" and then she shot herself in the head AND lived. :D
Just watched this week's episode of South Park and my diagnosis is this:

**gives thumbs up***

I hoping that they would put in a reference to Scarface, with the shootout.

And BTW, there is a such thing as the singer Wing. The website is at this:

http://wingtunes.com/public/default.aspx

Speaking of which, when I listened to her, it was like my head's gonna explode!

I also liked the way they took a shot at Sly Stallone and "The Contender"!
"After all these years, you know it's not about control. It's about trying to do everything I can. And for you, it's about setting an example. Everyone looks up to you. They listen to you. If you tell them to fight, they'll fight. But they need to be inspired, and let's face it, 'Superman'...the last time you really inspired anyone... was when you were dead." -- Batman, to Superman, Infinite Crisis, issue 1
