Hidden lyrics in songs website.

Post by peachvampiress » Mon Aug 30, 2004 4:26 pm

While going through cfox's website (which doesn't seem to be working now) I found this website that has a few songs that supposedly have hidden messages when played backwards. Here it is. I think it's interesting. I think most of these are just a coincidences (the Pink Flyod one's probably real though). But after listening to these, all I'm going to say is that Emienem is an evil bastard for the putting such a perverse message in his song. Surely something like that will corrupt the youth of today.

Enjoy!

Edit:Okay, now Cfox's site is working. The link is here. To find all the crazy websites, go to the left of the screen and down the list to the Geeks section.

Subliminal messages have been in advertising and songs for ages. *Shrug* I was freaked out by it for a while, but...Meh. I find them funny most of the time, now. Come on. Eminem's lyrics were ALREADY perverse. Backwards subliminal messages really can't MAKE someone do anything, as some people seem to think. How on earth will that corrupt youth anymore than the REGULAR music does??

It's working for me. o_0

And please tell me you're being sarcastic. "It is Slim. It's Eminem. It's Eminem." That is not perverse. o_0

EDIT: I cannot hear the "I love Satan" pokemon chant. I believe that one's just a tad on the bullshit side.

Yes, I've been replaced with a fembot ^_^ (and I like Eminem's music and it hasn't screwed me up, not in the least  )

I can sort of hear something like it at the beginning, but everything else is to blurred. Though I have heard about the supposed messages in pokemon songs. Some of the stuff was kind of ridiculous @_@.

I can't hear it either. It sounds like "Jack that ball", to me. LMFAO

The pink floyd one is so hilarious...

(the Pink Flyod one's probably real though).
The pink floyd one is so hilarious...
The Pink Floyd one's definately real, and it's not their only "hidden message" they've had in their songs. In an older album called "Ummagumma," they have a song titled "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict." The "small Furry Animal" noises are actually members of the band talking, spead up. One of them has something to do with pudding. I can't remember it exactly at the moment, and I've lost the site I learned it from...>.<

EDIT: I just listened to the Pokemon Rap one, and I can hear the message. It's so crazy, cuz it's actually more like "I-- lovesatan!!" Like they're REALLY excited about it. It's kinda funny.

Usually those scare me, the sound they make is just really scary, whether the message be evil or not. However, Britney's song played backwards was hilarious! She actually said that!

*Nods* that's how they scare me, too. I don't like the sound they make sometimes.

I know *shutters* it's just creepy. To me it sounded like the guy who made the site cleaned up the songs to make them less eerie, even the Stairway to Heaven's satanic message didn't sound that creepy. On another site however I heard a song by Bette Midler backwards, and the message was harmless, don't remember what it was, but the way it sounded was just, scary.

It's somewhat creepy, but I don't think it's something that people completely freak out over. A thing like Josie and the Pussycats wouldn't happen in real life.

I just had to say that. hahahahah

Ohh, the movie? I think that is a hilarious movie!!! Me and my friend were quoting the dumb one all day, don't remember her name "these walls are mushy!" lol. Back on topic. I don't exactly understand how those could control your mind anyways. Do they really ever work?

Ever listen to Industrial Metal? They have subliminal messages in that all the time.
Have you ever heard the song "Downward Spiral" by Nine Inch Nails? The song is this faint screaming, and faint whispering lyrics about shooting yourself in the head.
I bet the PTA and crap were all over Trent Reznar over that Album.

First off, I highly doubt the PTA would even know what's in that song, given that there's such a slim chance they would ever HEAR it.

Secondly...by stereotyping members of the "PTA and crap" like that, aren't yo udoing the same thing you're accusing them of doing? You're saying they would automatically jump to conclusions about Trent Reznar and his music...but you're automatically assuming they'd all give a damn.

I work in the school system. Not EVERY freakin parent is like that. In fact, the majority of them don't give a damn about what their kid listens to.
