That would just be weird if they did that. (Also, 7-7-7 is a Saturday, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe a lot of new books and/or DVD movies get released on Tuesdays. I could be wrong on that, though.)

The release date for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been announced: July 21, 2007. They expect that this one will outsell all the other ones and become the fastest-selling book on record.

Just something I thought you Harry Potter fans might like: They've made some really nice Harry Potter figures In the past hasn't Harry Potter merchandise been kind of crappy? I thought these figures looked really neat (that Dementor figure looks so cool I'd consider getting it).

I'm in agreement with Tiff-san. Also, while Ms. Rowling has announced that two characters will in fact die in the book, she doesn't specify who they are. That doesn't necessarily mean that one of them will be Harry.

On the subject of the cover art: is it just me, or does Harry's scar seem to be missing in that picture?
