Alright, I'll admit it makes me, erm, uncomfortable. Most guys get freaked out because they're well, not really used to it o_O. If I hear girls talking about tampons it just makes me uncomfortable mostly because I dunno what the hell I'm supposed to say o_o

Calm down. Now.
1) Rainbow never said she enjoyed seeing it. She said it didn't bother her.
2) He probably stated his sexuality becuase there are a lot of people who would think a guy were gay or feminine should he be comfortable when hearing about periods.
3) Nobody said you were a bad person. He was simply asking why most guys were uncomfortable about the subject.
Don't get so defensive.

I actually thought he was going to eat the tampon before you said that. ^^;;; I don't think Tampax are part of the Atkins plan.

Back on topic, anyways. Let's not stray too far into period blood, please. ^^; Tiff and I should not have to moderate you guys talking about that. Monkey, if it makes you uncomfortable, my best suggestion is to ignore it unless someone is directly attacking you or being offensive. ^^

I'm pretty sure I'm O+. My mom is and my dad is so I pretty much just assumed that I am but I'm not 100% sure. The only way of finding out is having a needle stuck in my arm, and I don't even want that. Blood does not bother me in the least, but needles do.

...Tampax isn't part of the Atkins plan… *falls over and laughs hysterically* Wooo…!

Eat the tampon?! That sounds like my dogs; they used to eat my pads out of the trash can. They also eat old Kleenexes too. Dogs...

Where did the Japanese blood type personality thing come from? I think it's pretty silly, personally, but at least it deals with something in your body instead of far-away stars like astrology. Is it related to the myth that a nosebleed means sexual thoughts?

Ooh, too much information..Anyways, my blood type is most likely AB, although my mother can't remember whether if it's that or B. I'm usually listed as being an AB type, so..well, yeah. Maybe I'll have to do a little experiment to find out for sure..

I'm an O-. I'm not old enough to give blood, so no O for you. I tend to freak out around blood. One time I got a gash in my forehead, and my whole face was covered in blood. It was scary-looking.

My blood type is B positive. AB negative is the rarest one, I know this because my Mom has it. I get very sick looking at blood. My period doesn't make me that sick, though.

I don't know where you guys are getting all this, AB+ and O- are the rarest bloodtypes. This is because one contains absolutely no special little code thingies in it, and the other has every possible little code-thingy in it.

Negative. AB Negative is THE rarest blood type on the planet. My own mother has AB Negative blood, and I'm O Positive. Pretty weird, ne?

How is that possible??? It was to my understanding that an AB person couldn't have an O child.
IaIb+anything would= either IaIb(AB), Iai(A), Ibi(B), IbIb(B), or IaIa(A). In order to have O you'd have to have ii as the offspring.
If somebody could explain that to me, or tell me if I'm wrong, please.
Thanx :D

AB- is the least common. O+ is the most common. I learned this in health in 7th and 9th grade. There you go. ^^

And Jed-kun, I don't think it's remotely possible using Punnett squares... I have noooo idea.

The square-thingies don't exactly work on blood types, cause they don't do the negative or positive thing. Plus, if Parallax's father has type O blood, then he could have it.

They don't? But we did them in Biology last year... I bet genetics are a bit more complicated than what a Punnet square could contain. ^^;;

I've never had my blood tested, but my mom says that most likely I'm B because that's what my dad is. I'm not sure how much truth is in that.

You know, everyone talking about their fear of needles and blood is really making me feel better. It's nice to know that I'm not alone in my fear. I hate needles. They don't hurt....yeah right! Just the sight of needles on a movie, in a book or on tv makes me almost pass out. The sight of blood has always made me uneasy. I'd be afraid of passing out in front of the patients if I was a nurse.

this fear stems into whenever people are talking about disease, hospitalization or anything related, my right arm begins to go numb from the hand up. then it continues over to my left. Takes several minutes afterward for me to be able to use my hand again. Sadly to say, this was a problem for me in Middle and High School in science and health classes. I know it's psychological, but it feels so real to me. Some of us take these kind of things better than others.

I'm not sure how true this is, but I've heard that you HAVE TO HAVE one of your parent's blood types. In other words, if your parent's are O and A then you'll be either O or A.
