Video games and anime sometimes tie in with each other, plus video games kick ass. =P Discuss them here.

What Consoles Do You Own?

Post by Ojamajo_LimePie » Mon Oct 20, 2003 5:31 pm

I own:
  • Gameboy Color
  • Gameboy Advance
  • N64
  • Gamecube
No, I'm not a Nintendo fangirl. :P It's just that the main game series I follow happen to be only released on Nintendo consoles. I'm a big Zelda fan. I'm considering getting a PS2, since it has some great RPGs, but I don't have the money at the moment.

That actually work?

PS1
PS2
N64
Gamecube
Gameboy color

--that don't work
Genesis [wires are missing]
Sega CD [it might work, but didn't the last time I played]
SNES [Works, but a wire missing]
NES [completely dead]
Original 4-battery gameboy [not sure].
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I own:

NES - The sound cord got frayed but the system still works
Game Boy Color - Still in pretty good condition
Game Boy Advance - Besides a rather big and deep scratch near the bottom, it's good as new
N64 - The reset and power buttons stick, but other than that it works.
Gamecube - Almost like new

I own a simple N64. I will most likely pick up a Gamecube soon since they dropped the price, and I'll get an XBox eventually. I'm skipping the PS2, since the PS3 will no doubt be backwards compatible anyway.

My PC serves as my primary gaming system. But it has its problems with game incompatibility(and I dread the eventual upgrate to DirectX 9). Though I guess I can count my TV Games Namco 5 in 1, since it is a self-contained game system in itself.

I and my sister own NES, SNES, PS, and PS2. Yup. Actually, I think we lost the PS1. <.<;;
They all work pretty well, too.

And I got a Dreamcast the other day. Whee!

Game Gear or Nomad?

I have:
PS1
PS2
Game Boy Pocket

My brother has an N64, also. We used to have an SNES and a Genesis, and way before that we had a Coleco (my mother sold it at a yardsale, despite me wanting to keep it.)

Edit: We used to have a pair of Nomads, too. I got a good price for mine when I sold it to a local video game store.

The stolen ones count in my heart

And E-Reader well..it does get new content aside from the NES ports so I'd say it. Consoles need tvs to be played so the E-Reader is only different in that it needs a GBA to be played.

OH and I forgot one!

I also have a Gameboy Player!

I used to have a Nomad. Drained batteries like crazy, it did. I sold it to a local video game store and got like $50 of store credit for it (which I later used to buy PS1 games with)

I could have kept a Game Gear recently, but sold it(my cousin owed me money, it was his). No good games for it, nor could I find any locally, decided againt messing with it.
