Has anyone else bought this game? I got it yesterday, and I love it so much! It's the lovechild of Kingdom Hearts and Dynasty Warriors, and raised by the movie "Dragonheart." It's so awesome..... Very dark, very bloody (though you can turn the blood off), and the story is progressing rather nicely. There are a few things I wish I understood better, but not a whole lot. And the graphics are beautiful. I hardly ever judge a game by it's image quality, but this game's pictures kick 73h 455. It's just.... *dies* If you haven't bought it, then go buy it as soon as you can.

By graphics alone I want to get this game, but I've heard the gameplay sucked. Although, you've given a full recommendation of the game. Which is true?
He's got to make his own mistakes
and learn to mend the mess he makes
He's old enough to know what's right
and young enough not to choose it
He's noble enough to win the world
but weak enough to lose it - Rush - "New World Man"

PS2. It's only like Dragonheart in that you have a pact with this dragon, and it gives you lots of power (as well as lets you ride her and decimate your enemies).Chibi Son Gokou wrote:Hmm. Might look into getting it. What system is it for?
BTW, Dragonheart was a HORRIBLE movie IMO.
Well, it depends on your tastes. It plays a lot like Dynasty Warriors, in that it's one person against millions, and the enemies are really easy to kill. (Mystic Heroes is similar as well.) So, the gameplay can get repetitive. But, if you get bored, you can switch and ride your dragon. There are different forms of combat, and you can switch it up if you like by switching your weapon in the middle of battle. So, it really all depends on what you like whether this game is crappy or great. I personally think it's great.Specter wrote:By graphics alone I want to get this game, but I've heard the gameplay sucked. Although, you've given a full recommendation of the game. Which is true?

Also, I've heard that riding the dragon and fighting while riding her has a really steep learning curve...is this also true?
