another helper

when you have played the land of simba for your seconde time
go on top of the pride rock have the keyblade Gull wings (gives more exp points when you have low health) with you and exp boost (ability)
and jump on the top make sure that Simba and Googy/donald (take goofy donald can heal you)are behind (put out simba's attacks in the menu it will make getting hit easyer and also take away the healing thing he haves)let the bird things attack you till you have a bad health now
your exp point wil be 2 times as mutch 15Oexp and there are 200 birds to kill if they are gone go back to the kings den and go back to the top they are back and hack away don't forget to save
you will level up in no time
Gull wing keyblade you get it from Yuna rikku and pain in Hollow Bastion on your way to the Ashem computer room
How much do you play Skywalker I just completed the pride lands for the first time.

Anyway since there are no-one helping I'll do that guy from the Beast's castle

First off make sure beast and donald is in your team and you have equiped ethers to yourself
First of go in close you take a few hits but keep using reactions to learn jump when you learn it move away when he starts to attack use jump then slash away with combo's, also use donalds limit comet he'll take even more damage, you can if you want transform into master form or wisdom and continue, If you transform into master you may change into anti-form and thats risky, I changed into master all the time but i got lucky.

Keep doing this and eventually he'll become temporarly invincible but you can still learn jump, but'll you'll take damage.
If you use jump right after he starts to attack you with combo's he'll become vunerable, now attack with beast's limit and attack fast as he become invincible, but this time he'll jump on his dragon and fly away
This dragon is capable to do massive damage against you and there is a slim chance you'll avoid it's beam attack, when he jumps of he'll still be invincble and you have to time jump right again to attack.

Oh yeah at some point he'll start shooting lightning at you from offscreen you can learn jump there to, weird but you can.

Good Luck It took me about 10 attempts to do this and only 3 times Micky came to help out

I havent played the second kingdom hearts yet so I cant really comment there. I did recently play through the first kingdom hearts and I have to admit that in spite of a lot of things working against it I did enjoy the game. I want to post a review I did of this game on another forum. I will put it behind spoiler tags because there are some minor ones in it. I tried to look at this game from not only a gamers point of view but also from an aspiring author's point of view. I realize some of you will strongly disagree with me, but still this is how I felt about the game.
Time for my review. Ill say my "given" first to give you an inside look into the mind of the reviewer.

Given: I hate the majority of the characters made by Disney. I think they are cliche and tend to reinforce stereotypes. There are exceptions to this rule but this is true for the majority. At least in reguards to the romance movies. Characters like donald and goofy are different. They are "fun" characters and shouldnt be taken so seriously.

What I liked about the game:

I liked the way the story worked. Different realities being destroyed by this outside force and a band of refugees working together to put a stop to it. The interaction between the characters from the different stories (especially Jafar and Maleficent) was very well done. I was surprised at how psychologically deep the Winnie the Pooh part was. "Im trying to figure out how to say goodbye to Pooh" was probably the best line in the game.

The game wasnt too hard once things were figured out, and the actual playing was fun. The battle system was good and pretty easy to get the hang of and the summons were either funny or cool. I mean Dumbo was actually pretty awesome and that's saying a lot.

The love triangle was a bit cliche but I think it worked fine within the context of the story. After all this kind of thing is expected in video game RPGs

What I disliked about the game:

First and foremost why are there final fantasy characters in this game? They say it's a crossover but it really isn't. The final fantasy characters in the game are not only completely out of character (why is selphie living with wakka and tidus) but they dont really have a major role in the story. It's true Leon and Cid are mentor type characters but they could easily have been replaced with either an original character or another Disney character. The FF characters are just there. They dont really have a crucial role to play in the story. For example the part with cloud in the hercules world was completely pointless. Also why are there no final fantasy based worlds? If it's a crossover and not just a game with cameos there should have been final fantasy worlds to travel too. Who else wanted a Spira world in this game? Bottom line the final fantasy characters are there simply for fan service and to help make $$$$$$$$$$$ and I found that to be really stupid and not giving enough credit to final fantasy as a source espically since the FF characters bear little resemblence to the versions from their sources unlike the Disney characters who are exactly like they are in their source movies.

Being able to be knocked out of casting the healing spell is the only other complaint I have. It makes battles just a tad harder then they need to be.

Conclusion: All in all this game was not bad, but the fact that it claims to be a final fantasy disney crossover is just untrue. It's a Disney story crossover game with a few final fantasy cameos where the characters are completely different then they are in their source games. I'd say it was worth playing though and I did enjoy the story.

NEWB HELP

Post by supersailorearth » Fri Jun 20, 2008 9:40 am

I am a complete newb to kingdom hearts, but i wanna get into it. I just cant figure out where to start, and I dont have a PS2. If I were to get a PS2 for maybe Christmas obviously I start with Kingdom Hearts. Do I then go to Chain of Memories of KH II? I know that Chain of memories comes before KH II, but do i want to go in chronological order or pull a "Star Wars"? And what does "Final Mix" mean? Or should I just read the manga? Also, is it even completed? I always have issues with stuff that is only half completed because I read the first couple books in a hurry then it gets hard to wait for one to come out. So what should I do?
