Video games and anime sometimes tie in with each other, plus video games kick ass. =P Discuss them here.

Playstation X

Post by MonkeyDLuffy » Sun Feb 29, 2004 2:01 pm

A little expensive for my tastes.

1,345$ is a little high priced, and then there is one that is a lower version priced at 1,000$. The only difference in appearance is that the PSX on the front/top is a little harder to see. But it could be just the way it was pictured.

I would get one when it is brought down 500$ or so, so then I can play japanese games, such as the new Evangelion 2 game *drools*

I think this will be released in the US in a year. Oh the shinyness!

...There's a playstation x? *completely lost*

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Hmm, did you see the first sentence was a link? I just noticed how...unoticable it is.

It was just released in December, and then another, less expensive one in January.

I think he means the PSX. It can be confusing because the original Playstation was called the "PSX" as a code name in Japan. The PSX (without the quotes) is Sony's answer to the Xbox in a way. It features a 120 GB hard drive and other features. Search for it on www.ign.com among other places.

Not necessarily. The PSX is to be meant for the Home Theater. and is not targeting the games market.

Aside from the Hard Drive, it features a DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/DVD+RW burner, and TiVo-like capabilities.

As for my thoughts, I'm fine with my PS2, and I'm planning to add a DVD burner to my computer, so I'm gonna pass.
