How in the name do you beat the Fusion Dragon? I'm l30 or so, should I increase or something because I can beat Saturos and Menardi, but the Fusion Dragon always whoops me. I have all the djinn so should I level up or is there a special strategy or what?

Me: This is coming from the kid who doesn't know what Viagra is!
Ko: It's cold medicine, right?
Our Group: NO!!!
Me: Can I just say?
Dylan: Sure, it's no weirder than what normally comes out of your mouth.
Me: (says what)
Ko: .....What's that?
Me: ......*starts crying*
Carley: STEVE! STEVE GET OVER HERE AND TELL KO WHAT VIAGRA DOES!
Steve: See, it's like this: The bridge goes up and the soldiers rush out....

Tiff: Aww, you killed someone for me. That's so sweet in a f***ed up sort of way!

Hmm.

I would raise my characters to 40 or so, and give them all the djinn corresponding to their elements. They won't be the strongest class that way, but they get good boosts due to element matching. I suggest using plenty of defensive and offensive stat raisers, summons, and powerful single-character attacks. Be sure to keep Mia/Ivan as a healer (whichever one it is; I forgot ^^;; ), and recover every round. Good luck!

It's Mia and Issac, but my only problem is Ivan always snuffs it during the battle with Saturos and Menardi.

I'm going to give you a really easy strategy:

Give every character the djinni of their element. Every turn, make Garet use the djinni Flash. It creates a one-turn shield weakens your enemy's attacks. They still hurt you, but where some would deal 75-100 damage, they now only deal 10-20. Have Isaac either cast Ragnarok or use his djinni. Have Ivan either cast psynergy, use his djinni, or summon. Have Mia either summon, use djinni, or use psynergy. On the next turn, make Garet set Flash so that it'll be ready for the next turn, and have Mia heal. Also, to make it easier, before the fight set all of Isaac's and Iva's djinni to where you can summon. This way, you can start your fight off with Judgment and Thor. Make sure Garet and Mia have all djinni equipped, because Mia needs to be able to cast Wish Well (Mia can use four djinni and still have this spell, I believe. Use those four djinni! Boreas is wonderful in this battle!) and Garet cannot die, or this entire strategy will not work. Just remember to prepare before the fight with Saturos and Menardi, cause there's no break between the two battles.

Also, I'm going to give you some other advice concerning the battle. The Venus Lighthouse has just been lit, so Isaac's psynergies and djinni are a little stronger. However, this won't make a difference in the long run, as the lighthouse healed Saturos and Menardi. Also, you may be curious to see what Mia's spells can do, since she is water while Saturos and Menardi are fire. They're still not powerful enough to cause significant damage. They help, but not in a substantial way. Cast them, but don't rely on them.

Reviving an old topic!

Here's the point of the game where I'm stuck:

http://guides.ign.com/guides/15255/page_11.html

According to the guide, it says to use Growth to make the plant grow into a vine. Is growth a Psnergy power? If so, I don't have it. Did I miss something?

How do I get this Growth power? Can I get it just by doing more battles to level up?

If you give Isaac a Water Djinni or Mia an Earth Djinni, they'll be able to cast Growth.

I started playing this and got so annoyed with the puzzles I gave up after like a couple hours.

Never gone back and tried to play it since.

Hm, I've always enjoyed these kinds of puzzle type of RPG games. It kind of reminds me of Earthbound in a way.

My coworker turned me to Golden Sun just recently, so I'm trying to get through the game as quickly as possible so I can return it to her promptly.
