Really, I think the only Pokemon games that were worth getting are Red/Blue and Gold/Silver, and I had a lot of fun with them. Although, I think I may be the only one here who's a major cheater. The instant I found out about Missingno., I was duplicating everything and using to fight and catch strong Pokemon you weren't suppose to get, heh. It was Gold I was really bad at, using a Game Shark to catch all the evee evolutions.

I didn't exactly name my Pokemon after SM characters, but I did use a slight pattern on three of them (the names are probably misspelled, sorry, I haven't played the game in ages):

Bayleaf: Bushroot
Jolteon: Megavolt
Vaporeon: Liquidator
Flareon: Hikaru
Umbreon: Dusk
Espion: Dawn

I got really into the cards, too, but I only collected the Japanese ones, including the banned cards that didn't come to the US. It was really hard getting the Imakuni one, though.
STAGE OUT!!!

I'm hardcore, I play Pokemon.

I actually usually only play when someone challenges me, or I challenge someone. I still play my Silver version most of all, I have Red and Yellow but I kind of never play them. I occasionally play Leaf Green but my file is pretty crappy, and I lost my Ruby version.

& I just started a new game in Colusseum.

These Pokemon games have been going down in the past years, and I think they are running out of moves and names for pokemon

and as someone said, the best pokemon games were R/B/Y/G/C/S

I don't like the show anymore, but everytime I look at the games, I feel the need to play them again, it's so addicting. x3 Still love them, especially Red, Yellow, Silver and Gold.

I always liked the Pokemon games, ever since I got Yellow back in the day. Always fun, even if you don't have anyone to play it against. And I have two GB Advances and a link cable, so I can trade with myself! ^_^

Oh, and to nap*, don't get depressed; the Frontier is really, really difficult. Even for those who are pretty good. I have the Emerald player's guide and about thirty Pokemon with all manner of rare and strong techs, and it still kills me on a regular basis. A lot of it's luck; you can't rely purely on skill or levels (since everything's forced to be at the same level). Just keep plugging away, I think, and you'll get it eventually. At least I hope so, or I am screwed as well... ^_^
Three quotes I like:

"Smart. Beautiful. Mercurius Twin."
- The "Sloganize" website

"Stop that, you! You're an accessory."
-Tsukino Usagi (to Luna, ep. 6)

"Stop the clapping! YOU'LL KILL US ALL!!"
- Professor Frink

That place is HAX central, my dugtrio got beaten by a Aggron, because of quick claw. I made a task to get all the silver symbols by new years I've only got 2 >.<

While I no longer watch the anime ( which has become boring, repetitive, and WAY too long), I still enjoy the games very much. The last game I've played is Crystal because I don't like the new Ruby/Sapphire pokemon or the Diamond/Pearl pokemon. Plus there are too many new rules/moves to remember.

I AM getting FireRed or LeafGreen because they are the remakes of my very first pokemon games.

I've played and beaten, Red, Yellow, Gold, Crystal(well, I haven't beaten Crystal because I haven't had time to, but I still play it when I get a chance), Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, and Pokemon Snap. My cousin owns Blue and Silver, but I've played those whenever he comes to visit.

I've never played the Trading Card Game, but my cousin has a large collection of rare cards and access to the secret pokemon( he even has Mew on his Yellow).

People give me hard time for liking Pokemon, but I don't care. These games are addictive once you get into them. I've been up until 3 in the morning playing Pokemon.

I realize this post is old, but I love you for the Darkwing Duck references!

I don't like the anime as of what it is right now, but the older seasons (Kanto in particular) are beyond hilarious. Gotta love Team Rocket.

As for the games, I played up to FireRed and LeafGreen, but I don't like the newer Pokemon past G/S/C. If I could ever find my DS, I'd play FR/LG again, because I loved the graphics updates. (That, and the DS screen was large enough for me not to squint at it)

I was a bit of a Pokemon freak during the craze, and as a result I have a ton of the different games. (TCG for Game Boy, Pokemon Pinball, Puzzle League, Puzzle Challenge, Snap, and Hey You, Pikachu!) I still love the Puzzle games in particular, because I've always been a puzzle game geek.

As for the cards, I THINK I stopped around the Johto Pokemon. I still have a lot of old ones though.

You have "Pokemon Puzzle League?" Awwwwww..... I loved that game when I was younger. Too bad my sister's broke it. Ah, the memories.
