Grand Theft Auto

Post by Jonathan » Sat Jan 31, 2004 2:29 am

What's your favorite Grand Theft Auto and why? What do you think about the game, and what do you think about a new GTA coming out toward the end of this year (supposedly)

I like Vice City the best. I loved the Miami setting, and I loved the 'Miami Vice' plot.

I can't wait for the new GTA to come out! They say it's gonna take place in Sin City

I was introduced to GTA3, then I played Vice City, but if I have to choose one, that would be Vice City.

And as for settings for the next GTA, it'll be either be Sin City or San Andreas, though I have to go with the latter, to keep in continuity with the first GTA (the first stage is set in Liberty City, while the second stage is in Vice City, and the final stage is in San Andreas).

I love GTA Vice City. I love it so much. I go around with a bat and kill people. They never see it coming. Other than that, I don't do the missions or anything like that.

Of course the greatest thing about GTA are the radio stations. They are all so unique and all so damn funny.

The talk stations are funny, especially Chatterbox in GTA3, and the music great and nostalgic :)

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. That is THE best game I have ever played!

He can swim, fly jet planes, parachute, do multiple drive-bys, screw his girlfriends...

Although I beat the game months ago, talking about it has got me all worked up about it! I must go play it again!!

If you really wanted to play vintage GTA, Rockstar is giving the original GTA and GTA2 away for free. Just go to this site:

http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/

Unfortunately Dial-up users need not apply (or at least have a little masochism in them). GTA and GTA2 is a >300MB download each.
You seem like the kind of person who'll lie.
However... this sword doesn't lie.

It looks like that, for now, San Andreas has been granted the dreaded
"AO" (Adults Only) rating, thanks to the unauthorized "Hot Coffee" hack that was discovered in the PC version.

Speaking of San Andreas, I'm hooked to that game. So far, I was able to max out my physical and most of the weapons stats (getting shot by two sawed-off shotguns has got to be VERY painful).

GTA S.A was by far the best. with all the new elements they implanted.
I know most people already know this but you can hack hot coffie on the PS2 with an action replay.
Not to bag on you guys but vice city din't seem like to much to me, i would rather play GTA 3, the only thing i like about VC over 3 was the bikes.
I still tend to play 3 to this day.

I only recently got San Andreas, but I've played GTA 3 and Vice City. Out of the three, I'm leaning towards San Andreas, mostly due to that it seems to be the biggest GTA at this point, and there's much more to see and do than in the other two.
