Kirby Air Ride

Has anyone ever played this? I love it, but I'm having the hardest time completing some tasks! What machine do I need to use to ace the "Celestial Valley: Drive over 6,500 feet in 2 minutes" challenge? I've tried just about everything, and I'm anywhere from 1,000 to 500 feet short! For reference, I have DDD and MK, and the only vehicles I don't have are the Dragoon, Flight Warpstar, and Hydra Star. (Is that it's name?)

Use Swerve Star to get over 6,500 feet.

That's the machine with the speeds only fast and stopped right? I tried that and got only 5500 feet. What do you *get* for going 6500 ft. anyway? Is it a green box or do I get a soundcheck or what?

Okay...

Piece one: Soar above 1,000 ft. in High Jump Challenge, Winged Star, numerous glide power-ups

Piece 2: Glide through 5 sky rings duing City Trial-mode. star that soars well, transport pads.

Piece 3: fly above 1,300 ft. Air Glider challenge, Winged star, about 15 glide powerups.

those are all three.

Winged Star- Finish in 1st while in air, any level. Reccomended Shadow Star in Fantasy Meadows, take ramp in final stretch.

How do you get the high-jump challenges and that? I only have Target Flight, Drag Race 1, and Destruction Derby 1. I think you have to get 10 points in DD, but how do you get high-jump, kirby melee, and the cool ones you have to *earn*? I checked game FAQ and as far as I could see that had nothing. I'm not doing bad in Air Ride at all, I just want to be able to complete the challenges.

And how do you get Flight Warpstar outside of free run? It's my baby oh yes it is!

It's...so...barren...I even started website searches, I'm that desperate. It's plenty good for some things, but it doesn't answer my questions, and GameTalk doesn't have a KAR board.

It happens sometimes, it's fine! But has anyone here reached that stage and gotten High Jump? And I know that you can get the Dragoon pieces in City Trial Mode if you fly through five rings and start busting boxes, but what do you have to do to get the Hydra pieces? This game is confusing!

I've got KAR, but I haven't done High Jump. ^^; It is a lot easier to unlock stuff in Air Ride mode with Meta Knight or Dedede sometimes.

I need to pick KAR back up and finish unlocking things.

I've been able to get HOW to earn the Hyda and Dragoon in City Trial Mode, but a convenient Battle Fog rolled in right when we were looking for the red boxes BOTH TIMES.

What I really want to know is how you GET High Jump and such. Unless my game is buggy, all you start out with is Drag Race I, Target Flight, and Destruction Derby I.

One funny thing that happened to me: In Top Ride, I had the easiest time controlling the Free Star, and it was next to impossible for me to control the other one (forgot) but I tried to train myself on the other one, but now I'm bad with the Free Star! Oy oy...
