Final Fantasy IV DS

After seeing FFIII get the DS treatment I held hope in the back of my mind that my two favourite Final Fantasy games IV and VI would as well one day. Well I'm happy today since I just saw the trailer for FFIV DS

The GBA ports were nice in that they were much better done than the PSX ports were, i.e. no lag. However, I'm hoping that in this age of flashy graphics that this will help introduce players to what I personally think is one of the RPG greats. That and it does look good for a DS game.

I'll be definitely picking this up when it comes out.

Having played (and enjoyed) FF III, I hope they really consider releasing the game to America. I've never really played it before (perhaps giving me an advantage), so I have hopes for this one. The extended story points will be great, I hope.
