Favorite Videogame Character?

Hey everyone, who are your favorite characters from a video game?

My favorites would be Aeris Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII because of how sweet, fun and beautiful she is, Terra Branford from Final Fantasy VI because she was very interesting and Elhaym Van Houten from Xenogears because I loved how kind and selfless she was.

Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. I'd like to see ANYONE swing a sword that big 0_0

Sam Stone(Serious Sam), Konoko(Oni) and Max Payne(Max Payne, of all games), if you're into PC gaming. I almost get the impression that these 3 are somehow all related to each other, too.

Mike LeRoi from Shadow Man was rather fascinating, in terms of an in-game character. He'd look at various things in the environment and could do quite a bit for a game made in 1999.

Max also summed his motives up rather well- "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings."

Occasionally, he'll sing a bar from The Lumberjack Song instead. My favorite is the grenade launcher- "All right boys, let's play hot potato!"

Hmm I'll just list a couple from my favorite genres
For fighting games-

Ivy Valentine from Soul Calibur- Cool, badass, sexy and insane. And she has the greatest weapon ever. A sword that becomes a whip

Nina Williams from Tekken- She just screams kick ass. I'd describe her rather similar to Ivy minus the weapon. Also replace insane with bitchy, hehe. And now she's getting her own game that looks awesome. *isn't paying attention to the hatas on TZ and gamefaqs*

For rpgs-
Rinoa Heartily from FF8- I admire her free spirited personality so much. She's beautiful and she's the best character battle wise in FF8

Squall Leonheart from FF8- I really like how his character evolved, even though he still struggles with his fears. I ended up feeling sorry for him and that doesn't happen very often. Also he's hot <3

I have to disagree with that. With the Lionheart Gunblade and a nice Aura spell, Squall has no equal in battle...

RPGs:
Aeris from FFVII- This is one of the reasons FFVII isn't my favorite FF, if you know what I mean. I dunno why I like her. I guess I just like girls like that.

Kyoka from Thousand Arms- Yeah, she's an NPC, but you can date her and she's hot (or at least I think so)

Fighting Games:
Mai Shiranui from at least 3 different game series- Come on, do I need to tell you why I like her? Watch her victory poses, or just look at her. The fact that she's my type of fighting game character (fast and agile) doesn't hurt either

Gon from Tekken 3- He's an SD T-rex, what's not to like? He's so short that your enemies sometimes punch over him, and he has this double tail swipe that can take out your opponent easily.

Nakoruru from Samurai Showdown and Capcom vs SNK 2- She's fast, agile, and has a pet eagle that she can use in her special attacks. And a short sword. She's just plain cool.

There are others, too, but these will do for now...

favorite human: Definitely Maou (Magus) from Chrono Trigger. Very badass, and he has a nice looking sprite (his menu-displayed face could use a touch-up though). I like him better as a bishounen villian than Sephiroth because, well, while they both have purposes behind their actions, Sephiroth goes a bit on the insane side, kinda like Square's equivalent to Tetsuo (from Akira), but Maou controls himself and ends up joining your party, allowing you to partake in his sweet black magic attacks.

favorite anomorphic: I love Tails from the Sonic games. He's cute, and I loved being able to fly with him in most games (not only is flying helpful, but it's pretty fun). Shadow comes in second. He's got a very dark personality, and that's a cool quality I find in almost any character. Also, his Japanese voice is probably my favorite voice in all of Sonic Adventure 2 (if you play the game on English voice settings, I suggest you change it and watch at least one cinema scene with Shadow at least once).

favorite beast: Chocobos from Final Fantasy are my favorite method of transportation in any game. I also love Slimes from the Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior) series, they're just so adorably cute, and I love the Pokemon, Hakuryuu (Dragonair), because it's so beautiful. It's probably a 3-way tie, but if I was forced to choose, probably Chocobos because I've known them the longest.

Riesz from Seiken Densetsu 3! She's cute, and can also kick some major ass, both physically and magically.

Usually always one of the three characters I pick when playing the game.

Other favorites of mine are Rydia (FFIV), Terra (FFVI), Lezard Valeth (Valkyrie Profile), and Ayla (Chrono Trigger)

Ooops I meant stat wise. I think Rinoa has the best most rounded base stats in the game. And she has better attack power and magic power than Squall

Nahhhhhhh. The Lionheart limit break is rare enough to get, and if you can do a good duel with Zell, he can out damage Squall by A LOT

From Legend of Mana, I loved Alex\Sandra and Elazul, as well as Escad...no matter how much of a buttmunch he was. XP And I love Rock from Capcom vs SNK! I also have an off-and-on relationship with Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII...but I'll always love Vincent. Always. ;.;

My fave RPG person has to be Momo from XenoSaga...she is so damn cute!!! Plus I LOVE her transformations!!!!!!! My fave fighting character is Sakura from all the Street Fighter games and from Night Warriors Morrigan and Felicia!!!!!

Kefka: Man. He's so insane it's hilarious.
Sephiroth: I like swords :)
Ganondorf: Bad ass. His depiction in OoT = best.

Of course, none of these holds a candle to the b357 ch4R4c73R 3V4R...
