Hentai Games!

In the same vein as the Hentai thread in the Other Anime section, let's have one for games! What are your favourite hentai games, and what do you dislike about those games, too, if you want to answer that.

Mine are the X-Change series and Let's Meow Meow! LMM! because... well, it has catgirls. I have a catgirl fetish, so sue me. But no, it's nice, the endings are sweet, and there is no (as far as I can remember) rape, which is always a nice change in the hentai world (I know there are others which don't use rape, but I can't think of them/haven't played them).

The only thing I don't like about it is the robot catgirl (can't remember her name, sorry ^.^;; ) - because she IS a robot, and one of the sex scenes involves your character having sex with her while her CHEST is open (for maintenance), which is just... odd to me. I'm not fond of Shinju's watersports moment either, but I think it is handled well for people like me who don't share that kink - so that's a bad but a good too.

The X-Change series is the classic isn't it - if a guy woke up as a girl. I love this because the girls all have personalities and aren't just there to be screwed (with the exception of Takuya, in all probability, but, eh), they actually do other things (such as Asami and Chisato the mad scientists trying to turn Takuya back to a guy [or in some cases, a dickgirl, depending on your ending!]), but they do have the throwaway characters like the school nurse who are there just for the sex if it's what you like - it caters to both sides. The latest one, Yin-Yang! X-Change Alternative! is also great, because it turns the big macho guy into a cute girl - Kaoru did look kind of girly in the first place, yeah, but he wasn't a bit of a wimp like Takuya came across as - and he agonises over being a weak girl instead of his normal tough guy self. The art style is really pretty too.

The problem with X-Change is after the second one they got voice acted, and while the girls are really nice-sounding when they're talking, they get a bit too screechy in the sex scenes for me. Ear-splitting orgasms, anyone? I know, I know, turn the volume down, but it's irritating. The other thing with X-Change is the reusing of bits from previous games - the "rape bus" sequence leaping immediately to mind.

I've also become a fan of these Hentai Bishoujo, or Dating Sim Games. But I've found that the sex gets in the way of some great stories. The subject matter in some of these games is not for everyone and I've found a good review site, http://www.gamefaqs.com/, which will describe the nature of theses PC games. For me the story line and character development has become the deciding factor in my recent purchases.

My first few games; "Let's Meow Meow!", "The Sagara Family", "KangoShicyauzo - I'm Gonna Nurse You" and "Kango Shicyauzo 2 - I'm Gonna Nurse You 2" were entertaining with adult themes.

Then I got "Kana - Little Sister" and I was floored by the story line. My first play through almost had me in tears by the ending. Since this game I've payed attention to the reviews to find comperable quality.

"Figures of Happiness" and "Heart de Roommate", which I've just completed, have lived up to their reviews. Being entertaining, funny and moving. I've just ordered another highly reccomended game "Crescendo".

Again these games are not for everybody but the multiple story endings through the different choices made available make you feel that you are part of the story.

For those of you over 18, give them a try, check the reviews before you purchase, and you might get hook on them too.

I only have one worth mentioning that's in English (but with a fan-made patch): Tsukihime
I also have Kagetsu Tohya, Fate/stay night, and Fate/hollow ataraxia. Unfortunately no English patches exist for any of them yet.

The problem with H-gaming over here is we usually get the bottom of the barrel games. Or, at best, the mid carders, but those are rare. I doubt we'll ever see any official English language versions of anything from companies like Key, Leaf, Type-Moon, or Navel.

Anyway, I've obviously never played any hentai games. I'm actually too afraid to pick one up, in the future, I don't know how weird these hentai games may get (as in, tentacles, bondage, ect).

Well...I'm not the biggest fan of Hentai games. I find that their pace is usually too slow, and they're not interactive enough to warrant being called a game.
However some do have interesting stories, but finding good ones is usually difficult for me (most stores don't carry them, I don't have a CC so online stores is a non-starter, and its hard to find some one that uploads them [well at least translated])

The only one I've really liked is Bible Black: La Noche De Waulpugis I tried it because I love the OAV's, and this one was just as good, if not better.

-All the same characters + more, all with great personalties.
-Great story.
-Competent voices and acting (As far as I can tell)
-Multiple endings (12 in all, and some are just awesome).
-An ending tracker
- Background and character viewer,
-The ability to replay the sex scenes that you've already got,
-A fast-forward feature so you can skip right to the choices and
make another on subsequent playthoughs.

Generally, just a great game overall. I wish I had more choices involving the use of spells, but its really a minor complaint. The ability to be good or evil, pawn or king, redeemer or destroyer is great. Also that scene where Imari beats up and humiliates 3 bullies is also wonderful.

This is a great compliment to the H-Anime (in fact the game came out first) and even sheds some light on the characters and situations. If you like the OAV's you'll love the game.

Oh, and if any of you are wondering the ending to the H-anime is a hybrid of two of the game endings (mainly the "true" ending, but with a twist found in another one).
