Video games and anime sometimes tie in with each other, plus video games kick ass. =P Discuss them here.

I'm also excited about the new game coming out. I love the graphics and all, but I don't care about the design (as long as they flow smoothly and don't glitch like crazy, I'm OK). What I'm more concerned about is the story and character development... and some romance would do quite nicely, though it isn't necessary. ^^;

Although I have to say that horseback riding during battle sounds like a lot of fun! :D *jumps onto horse and waves her sword in the air as she rides with a shreiking battle cry*

you're my kinda girl! ^_^ horseback battles, extreme puzzles, smooth graphics and transfers between animations, and a lil romance between Link and Zelda to top off the story. it would be sweet to shows bokoblins who'se their daddy!*joins DistantMemory on horseback roaring out his battle cry* after battle, a lil romance can cool down the tension. ^_^

*uses a sheild like a flyswatter smashing a keese like a bug* a lil romance, a lot of fighting, you fight for the one you love to be returned to you, it all works out.*uses Dins Fire burning large moblins to charred skeletons* maybe some cool funny oneliners, maybe spoken in Japanese, with English subtitles.*almost caught off guard by a stalfos and is stuck in a multi sword grapple, breaks 3 with his bone-like sheild, and is stuck with two*

The problem with voice acting is that everyone has already imagined for themselves what Link, Zelda, and everyone else sound like. This is why Miyamoto said he won't allow it: it detracts from everyone's imaginations.

One liners in general are still a plus, though! ^-^

we've already heard Links yells, gasps, and other sounds, all with the use of his vocals, so giving the LoZ characters diolouge, spoken diolouge, would be fitting, besides, I'm really annoyed with always having to read the diolouge, if it was spoken in Japanese, and given English subtitles, then it'd feel more like anime. I hope next time Shingiru Miyamoto makes a celshaded Zelda title, it look like something straight out of an anime movie, heavy shadowing, 2D lines, zoned to each peice, around the whole body, tucked between joints, around eyes, nose, hair, etc, and even make the world seem 2D.

Personally, I love A Link to the Past and The Minish Cap.

A Link to the Past - Was pretty easy. I beated it in one month. And I liked the story and the graphic.

The Minish Cap - Same thing with the story/graphic, but this one is rather difficult. After four-five months, I'm still trying to defeat the final boss T_T, but still...I love it ^^
Plus I really love Vaati's chuckle. Somehow, it makes me shiver.

I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge - more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can´t put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I´d found the key to true happiness.

I agree with both of you! This game seemed so good to me that I preordered it as soon as I got the chance (along with Kingdom Hearts II). :D

And speaking of The Minish Cap, I just got done with the dungeon in the swamp that's north of Hyrule Village. What do I have to do to get the Flippers?

getting the flippers is a pain. Hyrule Town, go to the library, and there are Minish in the library. you have to retrieve 3 overdue books... :roll:

officially the wierdest thing you need to do in a Zelda game ever.

After returning some books to the library, speak the the elder-minish in the bookshelf to be thrown into another mini dungeon. Defeat any enemies etc. and open the chest containing the flippers.
I hope it was helpful.

My all-time favorite Zelda game is A Link to the Past. I first played it at the age of around 13-14 and was hooked.

Emotion-wise, WW would have to take that honor. I still cry when
Medli awakens as the Earth Sage and Link's holding her and one tear drops from her eye, and there's that scene with the sad guitar music and Komali flies overhead. Even more poignant if it's nighttime in the game when you do it.
I cried at the end, too. But I wish there wasn't so much damn sailing.

I'm definitely going to get the new Twilight Princess game when it comes out.

Zelda is definently one of the best game series of all time, next to Metal Gear Solid.. um.. but still, that's only my opinion of course. I'm currently playing the Gamecube Zelda Classics CD thing, if anyone knows what I'm talking about. I'm playing Majora's Mask on it, so good. Except I always get annoyed at the water temple part.. *sigh* I just.. don't like it.. I really don't like it in Ocarina of Time, either. I had to do the Snow Temple one four times, because the CD was scratched and would randomly freeze on me.. -_- my confidence died that day. I finally got through it though. I love Keaton, he's so neat lookin'

Well, I see that Amazon.com has the Twilight Princess release date set back in May now, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to go and hurt some people now.

*Grabs shovels and baseball bats*

(For those of you who don't know, Twilight Princess was supposed to be released in November.)

Is this just on Amazon.com? Because if it is then I wouldn't take it too seriously. Amazon.com has screwed up release dates many a time.
Peachvampiress has an account on DeviantArt. Insanity Within.
And a Myspace account for her clothing designs.

I just checked on GFaqs, they're pretty up-to-date usually... and the release was moved back to quarter one of 2006, meaning it'd be from January to April... somewhere in there...
;_;

I'll have Fire Emblem ROMs, Gale of Darkness, AW:DS, and FE:Souen no Kiseki to keep me company. :lol:
