I liked Link to the Past the best because of the storyline and it was mainly just a lot of fun. I thought Ocarina of Time was good too, but I didn't like the fact that the game was caked with bugs and some of the character designs looked really stupid. Plus I thought the final battle was way too easy and I didn't like how some of the monsters, especially the spiders around the lake, were stupid enough to just jump right into your sword.

I think the worst Zelda game was probably Zelda II. That game was just annoying as hell.

I hated the fact that your sword was so short that in order to reach someone, you had to be like only two pixels apart. I'm guessing you do get a much longer sword as you progress through the game though, but I'm not sure since I believe the farthest I've gotten was the outside maze and then after that I just threw in the towel.

Nope. You are stuck with the same sword through the entire game.

don't worry, it gets worse. You get to fight things you can't SEE. I used a FAQ on Gamefaqs for everything... good god was it annoying.

There are some enemies that can't be seen without the cross, obtained in the 6th Palace/hidden Palace.

I'm a big fan of the Legend of Zelda series! My most favorite game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. My second favorite game is Majora's Mask. I've also played The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

The first Zelda game I bought was Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and it's still one of my favourite adventure games. Now that the new Zelda game is coming out soon my favourite might be changed since the new one will have improved quality and graphics.

I meant that Link has over eight love interests. We'd need eight Links so everyone can be happy. Link can then be with all of his love interests. Then Malon and Saria and Zelda and Marin and Romani and Cremia and Maron and Nabooru and Ruto and Link could all be together! Well it would make all the fans be happy. If only Link could be cloned.

Link should be with all of his love interests.
No...we'd need NINE Links. One for me!!! ^^

Zelda kicks ass. Ocarina of Time is the best one. For some reason, I didn't find Majora's Mask as good as OOT.

Replying to what somebody said in an earlier post: I DESPISE the LinkxZelda pairing. I just hate it. I don't think that Link should be with anyone...well, me XD

I went to GameStop after seeing this thread hoping to find a used Zelda game for my GBA. I bought a used copy of Link's Awakening. I'm really enjoying it so far, I'm just having trouble trying to get past the enemies to get the sword that I have to pick up. >_<

You should get Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64. It's way better then Link's Awakening and has more of a movign plot.

I like Link's Awakening, but Ocarina of Time is my all time favorite. The music and storyline is excellent. I know it may sound silly, but I felt like crying when Ocarina of Time was over! Any Zelda fan who doesn't play Ocarina of Time is missing out on a great game.

You should buy ocarina of time for the gamecube if you have one, that's where you feel the real experience of what zelda games are really like.

Not exactly. Zelda games tend to differe greatly from one another, and you can't use one as the judge of them all. I personally think that the original game and LttP are the best representations of "Zelda," but I'm not going to tell anyone that those are the "definitive" games.

I tend to agree with Parakiss on this one. Orcarina of Time was a good game, but I like the other two better.

In my own opinion though i tend to think that ocarina of time got me into the series since it was the first Zelda game i played. I would of changed my mind if i played an earliar game at the time like the NES games.

If any of you followed E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo) this year you'd have seen the preview video for yet another Zelda game. For those of you who haven't seen it, let me tell you: IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING! It's going to have sweet graphics and it looks like it takes place in a new area (whether it's still considered Hyrule or not I dunno). Head on over to sites like GameSpot and IGN and check it out. I'm most definently going to get it.
