Fav. one was Ocarina of Time (I'm listening to Saria's Song as I type this)

I love the Zelda series. My favorite Zelda game was Ocarina of Time. I also would like to say that Malon is really cool. She has a great voice and I am probably the only Malon fan, but Malon rules. So many fanfics turn her into this person she is not, and their are way too many fanfics that do horrible things to her. Malon is a great character. Malon rocks. Anyway, I love all Zelda games. Ocarina of Time is the most nostalgic, as it always brings out emotion in me.

Malon's not the only character with the 'warped fanfic character' syndrome. Saria and Ruto are too. Granted, if you want to twist the characters in a predefined universe for a fanfic, I respect your decision.

Here's how I see it:
Saria will always be Link's friend. The game explicitly says this.
Malon will also be a friend to Link
Ruto was merely a child when she gave Link the Zora's Sapphire, so she probably didn't know what marriage truly was. When she becomes the Water Sage as an adult, she realizes that Link has someone else in his future...

Bottom Line: Link and Zelda are meant to be together

I think Link should be with everyone. The game and the manga have different takes on Link. In the game Link has more interaction with all of the characters. In the manga it delves into Link's inner thoughts. Everyone in Ocarina of Time is so cute as a kid that I'd love to see how all of them would work out. Hey, maybe in that four swords game where there's four Links, each Link can be with someone. That way, everyone's happy and there's no more wars. Then again, we'd need eight Links for everyone. I think Link goes well with all of his love interests.

Eight Links? I hope you have plenty of GBAs to go around and eight people to play them.

You can connect with 8 people with 4 swords? I thought the max was 4.

I meant that Link has over eight love interests. We'd need eight Links so everyone can be happy. Link can then be with all of his love interests. Then Malon and Saria and Zelda and Marin and Romani and Cremia and Maron and Nabooru and Ruto and Link could all be together! Well it would make all the fans be happy. If only Link could be cloned.

Link should be with all of his love interests.

Sailor Moon, you are definitely not a minority. Me and tons of other people (many of whom can be seen on Gamefaqs) like Malon and would prefer her to pair up with Link than Zelda.

BTW, your comment on all the girls looking cute as kids, I'd kinda have to disagree. Zelda looked utterly horrible, but I guess I should blame that mainly on the low-polygon days of the N64 (her artwork was more tolerable, but I think she should lose the veil).

I think all the chibi tons people are adorable. Link should get together with everyone. I think they're all adorable. I love the cute noises everyone made.

Sorry. I loved that show! And hardly anyone I know remembers it! In fact, counting you three (Starscream, Lucied, and SLRJoeCool), I know five people who remember it! 5!!!!!! And I loved it!!!!!! Especially since Zelda actually got to DO stuff!

EDIT: Found this about 5 minutes after posting, so decided not to make a new post about it.

I really loved the Legend of Zelda cartoon show, too. I remember I used to make sure to watch it every Friday afternoon on WGN even if it was a rerun just to be able to watch it. My favorite moments were whenever Link tried to get Zelda to kiss him. I also liked what they did with Zelda in that cartoon because she wasn't always being held captive and I liked her funny sarcasm.

What's this I hear about a Zelda manga? I've been hearing people talk about it at the SMU lately and I've been curious to know what it's about. I take it that no English version is avaiable, correct? If so, could anyone possibly link me to some scanlatations? I normally don't like reading scanlations as I prefer to have the manga in my own hands, but for the Legend of Zelda, I'll definetly make the expcetion!

Thanks for providing the link, but that site is so confusing I can't make heads or tales of where to start reading from.

Hmmm...you mean, in terms of which manga to start reading? It doesn't matter. In terms of storyline, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are connected to each other and nothing else. Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons are connected to each other, too (though you had best read OoS first).

I think he means that it's hard to find the manga. I visited the site, and I couldn't find where the manga was located.

It says at the main page to press F11. Then, you can find the pull-down menu at the top of the page to the various pages on the site.

I just got done reading Chapter 1 of Oracle of Seasons...here's my review (may contain spoilers, so read at your own risk):

Well, the manga explains a little bit on who Link's family is, so reading the manga makes me wonder if the Oracle games came BEFORE Ocarina of Time...

I like the intro sequence involving Link and his family...the manga does a better job explaining how Link got to Hyrule Castle in time for the game to begin than the game itself does. I also like Link's pet chick too.

Din looks prettier in the manga...the game had too much of a spikey look for her. Don't get me wrong, I like her game picture (i.e. the picture that appears in the opening cutscene in the game and in several places in the Seasons section of the strategy guide), but her manga picture looks nicer.

I can't wait to find out what happens next!

All that happens when I press F11 is that the window for Internet Explorer fills the entire screen.

We might have to change the resolution on our computers, CCT. I have mine set on 800X600, and I have the same problem you have. Try setting it to another size, like 1024X768, or whatever it is. I think that should solve the problem.
