Meh. I've only played the very original NES version (the best one, IMO) and I've watched my brother play Ocarina of Time when it came out.

... *hides*

I've known for a while, but I'm kinda indifferent. I think that Nintendo's going to do something with the Revolution with this, it'll get tons of sales too.

I would have to say TLOZ: a Link to the past:. I truely liked the story play, and the fact it was simple, and no need to blow your brain figuring out what to do next

I like TLOZ: A Link to the Past. Mostly because I'm retarded with nostalgia like that. >_>;; Plus, it's fun, and I think it's funny when Link turns into a bunny in the dark world if you don't have the right thing (can't remember it's name right now.....)

Plus, the funny thing is, I can't actually get my mom to play it. Yes, you read right, my own mother even plays the game. And she's pretty friggin' good too! xD She claims it's because she only likes the music in the game, but there has to be a reason behind the first reason.... Yeah, hehehe.

I'll have to be radical and say that all things considered, my favorite Zelda game was Zelda 2. Link was a little weaker than in the post-8-bit games, and that led to having to use some strategy. For example, the right move was to hold off on taking the 1-up links until you're ready for an assault on the final castle, so that you have as many lives as possible. But they don't tell you that, so I used them all up as I went and had to start over.

Probably it's just that I happened to play it at the right time, but it's what I like.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

Just recently I've heard of a new Zelda title for the DS to come out.
Honestly, all there is so far is a trailer. Not much else is known.

The title of it:

The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass

Based on what I've seen, it looks darn good!

*nods*

I've seen the trailer also, and it looks..... interesting. I know I'll buy it, which means I'll need to buy a DS when the time comes. Hopefully the DS Lite or whatever it's called will be released by then.

Very good! Next to Mario, I say that these games are continuously going. I still say that Mario is better, though.

I've also played the original NES game, this was a very hard game, but now I don't think so anymore, I've grown up now. But at the times, my mother had to help me out xD

Then came Ocarina of Time and I still think it's one of the best games ever, even now. I've never finished Majora's Mask, it's one hell of a task.

I've recently started playing "A Link to the Past", it's terrific. <3<3

Is anyone looking forward to Phantom Hourglass for the DS? I actually am, and I think it will be more fun than Wind Waker. The new trailer (click here) looks really neat. In case anyone didn't know, it's a direct sequel to the Wind Waker.

I'm currently playing through Twilight Princess for Wii; I got frustrated and re-started my file because I went a long time without playing and forgot what the heck was going on. But I've already seen my brother play through the game and it's pretty awesome.

Anyway, Phantom Hourglass. Anybody think that female pirate fighting with two swords might be a Gerudo?

Actually, that female pirate is
Zelda
with her memory wiped clean and thinking she was a pirate all along. From what I gather, she was shocked to be revealed as
Zelda
. I was kind of hoping for a Medli/Link pairing in that game, but a girl can dream.

No... I'm not talking about the Wind Waker. I am talking about the brown-haired pirate in the Phantom Hourglass game trailer I linked in my post.

She fights with two swords, has a high ponytail, and brown skin like Gerudo in past games, and the Gerudo were also pirates in Majora's Mask.

Oh, then I'm sorry. I misunderstood. I do like Zelda, but not that much. Thank you for correcting me.

Well, Phantom Hourglass does look interesting, but I'm breaking away from preordering at all. For TP, it was a matter of wanting to get the GCN version (I had heard t was going to be a limited release compared to the Wii version), but I am in no rush of playing through it.

Speaking more generally, I've played every Zelda title (except Four Swords inside the ALttP GBA cart), and while I like them all, Ocarina of Time is definitely my favorite. It may be the very first I've played, but I still want to play it, nearly 9 years from then. Link's Awakening is pretty great, especially considering it's confined to Game Boy technology. In fact, if Link were to choose ONE girl, I would want it to be Marin.

I just started playing Zelda 1 on my NES emulator. Haven't played it since it was on the DS.

Was it always this hard? I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to do now. lol Just beat a dragon after several tries.

Oh well.

Just got a Wii and bought Zelda Twilight Princess. I really want to try that game out.

EDIT: I remember watching the Zelda cartoon when I was younger. So I went on youtube to find some episodes and was it ever cheesy! XD It did not age well at all.

Someone please make fun of this with me!

You bough "Twilight Princess"? Damn. You are so lucky to have got it now along with the Wii among other things. I have o wait for Christmas next year to get it because of how price it is. :(
