To answer Para_Kiss, this collection is a special disc for GameCube. You can get it one of two ways, the first is buying a GameCube and the disc comes with it, the other way for current owners is to get two holidy games this season, and register them and your GameCube through Nintendo's site to have them send the disc to you free. I think there's also an offer for the disc if you subscribe to Nintendo Power, can't verify that though.

I'm going to have to wait for this disc. I already have a cube, and hopefully getting two games (Mario Kart: DD and M&L: SS) that I can use to register for Christmas. Maybe if I'm lucky, the discs aren't actually packed in with the cube and I can convince someone in my normal video game stores to give me one...... :twisted:

1. Gamecube.

2. Nintendo newsletter.

3. Get it!

There are three options to get this disc:

a. It'd bundled with new $99.99 Gamecubes.

b. Subscribe to Nintendo Power.

c. Register a Gamecube and two of the following games at Nintendo.com/zeldaclassic: Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Party 5, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and 1080°: Avalanche.

I got mine today. Supposedly, the street date on these isn't for 2 days but TRU broke it. It's not boxed with the system, they simply scan it when you buy the system.
The 2 NES Zeldas are exact copies of the originals. The 2 N64 Zeldas have slightly enhanced details, better than the N64 versions. I'm guessing that OoT is the same as included with the Wind Waker bonus disc, but no master quest.

Hmm, other sites had the street for Tuesday, oh well, it';s out and that's all that matters.

And it's not packed in the box? Nice, my chances of getting this soon are up. I'll try to make Microplay give it to me for free for compensation of getting DDR Ultramix in late (still don't have it >.< ). :twisted:

Hah, I've already sent out a money order for it. ^_^ I've always wanted to try out the first two Zelda games, but I didn't have the right connections on my TV to hook up an NES.

Now I can finally find out why people wouldn't stop complaining about the difficulty of The Adventure of Link. :P

I have my orginal copies of both NES Zeldas, and they work beautifully!

I wouldn't mind seeing them on the NGC, though...

I never got either of the N64 games, so I obviously took up the opportunity to pre-order Wind Waker. Ever since I saw those clear CD-quality graphics on OOT, I promised myself to wait out a bit for a GC version of Majora's Mask before buying some cruddy used copy, and what do you know, it happens much sooner than I think. It also happened to come out around the time that my original Legend of Zelda cart stopped working. I ordered a Nintendo Power subscription with it right away (well, actually on Tuesday. I couldn't do it the Monday the deal started due to problems with signing up to My Nintendo). I can't wait 'til this thing comes in the mail.

Since I belong to NP I'm getting one whenever they decide to send it.

I wouldn't particulary care for it if LoZ had been legitly released on Animal Crossing by now but it hasn't! >_<

So I want it.

LoZ = Woohoo!

Zelda 2 = Crap

OOT = Crap

MM = Never played so who knows?

I will be ordering it sometime next week, whenever my job sends me my paycheck. I still have all those games for their respective systems, but I would like to get them on one central system. So, in case my Old NES desided to bite the dust, I'll have it on the Cube.

There's also a demo of Wind Waker on the disc. It's 3 pre-saved games, probably the same thing used in store demo copies.

I know. I didn't include that because everyone who would get this probebly already has Wind Waker.

No, OoT is NOT crap. Zelda 2... I'm not sure, but it looks kind of like the Dragon Warrior games. I think MM is going to be good... ^_^

I also agree. Ocarina of Time is most definitely not crap (mostly because it was the first game that got my into Zelda in the first place, so I have an emotional attachment to it ^^; ). And you should try Majora's Mask, too. It's short compared to the other games, but it has plenty of sidequests and lost items to keep you at it until you're ready to truly beat it. :D
