Who's planning on getting it?

It came out yesterday (I think)... I am going to go try and pick it up today. =D

Oh side-scrollers, how I have missed thee...

I plan to get it once I get a DS
Favorite Senshi: Saturn and Jupiter
If I had a Henshin phrase it would be: Dragon Master Power! Armor Up!

A shrine without girls is like Miso Soup without the Miso - Grandpa Hino
The human body can be drained of blood in 8 seconds given adequate vaccuuming systems - River - Firefly

Got it!

Fun stuff. I like the new power-ups like Big Mario (which I've only gotten once so far, and I'm on World 5 o_O;; ) and Shell Mario, but I miss old ones like the ones from Mario 3 or World. ;_; No Yoshi makes me sad.

I don't think I like it as much as World or Yoshi's Island so far, but its still pretty good. Definitely one of the better DS titles!

Is there the Tanooki suit? That was the greatest power up in all of Mario

Nope. No Tanooki, Frog, Racoon, Cape Feather, etc.

I really wanted Cape Feather back. That was my favorite power-up ever.

Kait got this for me for an anniversary present, and I love it thus far. I really can't compare it much to it's predecessors yet, though I do think they could've done more with it. I'll review more in that aspect after I've picked apart everything.

Right now, I have just beat world 5 the normal way. I unlocked and completed world 4, and will probably unlock world 7 before playing world 6. I really like the level designs thus far, and the perfect blend of classic side scrolling with new graphics and effects. I must say I love seeing new technology being used to better the side scrolling genre rather then forget about the genre altogether. The homages to past Mario games are a nice touch. The flagpoles at the end of each stage, the classic 1-2 warp trick, world 4 looking and acting in a similar fashion as World's Forest of Illusion.

Mario vs Luigi mode is a nice touch. It's a good mix of side scrolling action with competition. The stages loop and they are a good length, and have good designs, mix of complexity but not so much to slow the game down. It's a lot of fun, though I wish there were more stages since the replay value does go down with only five stages.

As for the mini-games, they're the same ones that were on Super Mario 64 DS. So if you already have that game, then you've played the mini-games, unless you haven't unlocked them all, then you get to see the ones you haven't yet. I'm not sure about the versus minigames, though since the image on the top screen has M/L/Y/W featured, I assume that it's the same as Super Mario 64 DS versus mode.

Overall, a great game so far. I really wish that they used the Koopalings rather than reuse Bowser Jr so many times though.

I am more addicted to that damn mini game than the game itself. ^^;;;;; Remind me NEVER to step into a casino.

haha. I have gotten to world 3 so far, but it is fun and a good usage of 'I don't know what to do with my myself' time... which I hope none of you have that kind of time. x.o; Going to big Mario is fun when you can.... the little chances that you can. The mini games I haven't played yet because ...I haven't. I'm a slacker atm when it comes to Mario. I'm more into X-men Legends on the GC. Forgive me, Mario.

I want Super Mario Bros. and Princess Peach sooooooooo bad but I don't have a Nintendo DS. I tried to convince my parents to get me one but they said no. So unless I come up with the money to get it myself, I won't be able to play it. :(
