I want to get an N64. Fine. I said it. Problem is... my parents are nuts. my dad takes everything out on me and my sister. so... they will basicly attack me either way.
I want to get one off Amazon.com, and I don't think they will let me. I haven't asked, they latly harrased my sister because she got a C+ in Physics at a Math & Science school. and the class is HARD.
So they are talking at the moment, and I want to get for N64 *if they let me.

*
Majora's Mask
Battle for Naboo
Star Wars Racer
Mario Party 3
maybe super mario 64.
anyone want to help me with this?

If your parents are wary of getting stuff online, go to a local video game store. They go cheap, and the games on your list you can get for $15 or less. Except probably Majora's Mask, I believe that's around $20. EB is the most common gaming store in most areas, if you have a MicroPlay, Game Craze, and/or a Game Stop (I think that's the name, I don't have that in my area) near you, or any other gaming store I don't have listed, make trips there and get prices from them. Another good way to get one not-online and still cheap is through other people advertising through the swap sheet. I know most areas have little newspapers called swap sheets where the entire thing is deducated to classified-like ads for people selling various merchandise. You can find some of the best deals ever in those things.

my dad said he'd look at it...
My dad usually gets stuff online. that's where they bought my French Horn.
My mom wants help with e-mail, I come downstairs, I see internet browser, I open it... a buy site online with French Horns on it.
either way... Majora's Mask is only .99 cents on Amazon.

If it's a 99 cent used copy, the case probably looks like it was in Baghdad at one point. EB has it for $18, I'm sure Gamestop probably beats that.
You can get the system for $20 at Gamestop, which lowered their price after Game Crazy opened and sold the system for $20. Memory cards range from $3(off-brand) to $5(Nintendo), but I'd suggest getting a $3 4X card(I've had no problems with off brand cards, and few games use them anyway).
I you want Majora's Mask though, you'll need an expansion pak, which is another $20, used. Never purchase an off brand pak, some of those can overheat and burn out the system.

September 29, 1996, ever since the system was released. Not all games used the memory card, but it's always been there.

Well, the N64 IS pretty old =X
Try going to EB if there's one near you. I saw a bunch of used N64 games (and I mean a BUNCH), not sure if they had the actualy system though.

I found those memory cards to be such a sham. They were just some excuse for you to pour out more of your money so you could be able to save on certain games, but those game manufacturers know damn well that as long as Nintendo's going to still be sticking in the cartridge era, they're still capable of saving directly onto the game. Strangely, though, it'd seem that a ton of 3rd party companies decided to take advantage of this memory card thing. Nintendo was the one who made the controller capable of using memory cards in the first place, but I've mainly seen them only use their games for the rumble pack and Game Boy transfer thing, odd.

I didn't think it needed a memory card... that means I don't need to get one! ^_^

Shadow Man was memory card only. And the save block took up most of the card, rendering it useless for anything BUT Shadow Man, an donly 1 file at a time(for the record, the PC version has 10 save slots).
