i think that tekken 1-5 are the best games ever!! if you agree plz hit me up den!!

tekken is way better than all the other fighting games out there! All the graphics and the outfits are cute. anywayz let me know! by the way, im tyhe queen of tekken!

I DO believe Tekken is the best fighting game series out there. Interesting diverse cast of characters, and most of the games have entertaining gameplay. (noteably Tekken 2 when it was new, Tekken 3, Tag and 5). And the series is still alive after all these years.

Tekken has come a long way, with tweaks in the gameplay system in each installment. And for the most part each game was an improvement, with the exception of Tekken 4. Not to mention it has one of the better fighting game stories... and Nina Williams.

Also no, I'm the queen of Tekken!!!

I prefer Guilty Gear myself.

Be it for the cast of characters, the music, the frentic pace, or the fact Kikuko Inoue plays a role that is very atypical for her.

And the girls of the Jellyfish Pirates rule. (a.k.a. Dizzy & May)

Hey Nina and Jun used to be my favorite team in Tekken Tag. But I switched to mainly using Nina and Julia. Actually I love any combination of the Williams sisters and the Changs.

And Guilty Gear is cool too. Guilty Gear XX/#Reload are probably my favorite 2D fighters. Tekken and the Soul series are my fave series though

Unless you were saying "Thanks for complimenting Tekken", then.......*shakes head*.......never mind.

To keep it on topic. I was never a tekken fan at all. While I'll admit it really pushed the boundaries of videogames and pushed fighting games into the world of 3D, i was never a fan of the blocky characters. I always got my butt kicked too -_-;;;;;

tes actually. tekken4 and 5 are for ps2 and 1-3 are playstation.
tekken 5 reserection is rumored to be on ps3.

Now that I think of it... Though I did mention GG, it's hardly the best video game ever.

My vote would go to either Civ 4 or the original Doom. I have no idea how many hours I played with either game and not even realize it. There's been a few times dawn came before I realized how "late" it was getting.

To add to this, Tekken Tag Tournament is also on PS2. Definitely check that one out and Tekken 5. You could skip Tekken 4.

Also, Tekken 5 on PS2 has the arcade versions of Tekken 1-3. Very convenient

I also think Tekken is the best fighting game out there. People love to compare it to Soul Caliber, and tho Soul Caliber is a good game, Tekken is better.

They had real good stories but lately I think its been getting crappy. For example, Julia pretty much has the same story in both Tekken 4 and 5. And it still hasnt been confirmed what Asuka is to Jin. (people say their cousins, but I want the game to confirm it for me)

I've always liked playing with Xiaoyu and Hwoarang. Xiaoyu is hot and Hwoarang literally kicks ass. I'm the king with Julia though.

Yeah, you know, I don't think people would compare Tekken to SC if it weren't the fact they're both made by Namco. SC is played totally differently from Tekken, and it is also easier to learn in depth than Tekken is. I'm also a huge fan of the Soul series though.

As for the characters, like I said Nina is my favorite and best. But aside from her, her sister ( who I like purely for gameplay) and the Changs, I also like Hwoarang, Jin, Christie, Jun, and Kazuya to name a few.

And yeah, the story is getting repetitive as well as making less sense. Look at all the characters who were supposedly dead and brought back for Tekken 5. But it's a fighting game, so story doesn't matter. Tekken Tag didn't have a story and it's one of the best games.

No, Chrono Trigger is the best videogame ever.

The best game in the fighting genere is Street Fighter II.

I think Tekken is a great fighting game, but the above two points stand.
