Anyone remember this game, for the SNES? I do, infact I still own it from Christmas '96. ~_^
I've probably started this game over, on two of the three save files, about a bazillion times, and still haven't even gotten CLOSE to halfway. I don't know what it is; maybe it's the below par music, or the freaky experience building system for training (I think it's freaky, because I can't seem to find any menu that show' how much experience I have or need).
But on one of the save files, I have all of the characters, and their up to around level 40...ish. And I'm to the last (?) boss, Jade. It's been at that place ever since.... 1998 I think, and I still haven't been able to beat his ass ^_^
I also remember there being a 2nd BoF game, but I haven't been able to find it for YEARS apon YEARS. >__< BoF 2 was also for the SNES.
So, how many of you guys remember this game along with me?

I found Breath of fire 1 to be a fun game. I never had trouble with the final boss either (which isnt Jade BTW)
Are you stuck in the fight with the big dragon head? Its been a while since I played it but if you got the ultimate dragon fusion and that song it really shouldnt be that hard to beat it?
As for Breath of fire 2. Its got a great story (a story which inspired other games like final fantasy X) but unfortunatly the unbalanced fights ruins it for me.
You have to level up for hours on hours between each dungeon and still your not ready for the battles. Not to mention you have to level up each character too and that takes bloody forever. So great story but zip play value.
