Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs

Hey. I hope somebody on here has this game because I need some major help!

I already went to Gamefaqs.com and actually found someone who told me what to do (but it won't work for me) but their forum does not allow me to post for some reason even though I already registered.

Anyway, I am in the Barracks part of the game. I transported the penguin across via frozen walrus. And then he gives me the Super Ice Breath and he told me to use it to blow on the shallow patch. Where is the shallow patch?!

On Gamefaqs, they said to go to the part of the land where I first came in (with the walrus) and you'll see a darkened space of water to the left that is shaped like an L on the map. Well, I used my Ice attack but it won't do anything! Someone help!

Question: Are you playing one of the Playstation games or one of the Game Boy Advance games?

The newest game for GBA and the name is Spyro: Attack of the Rhynocs.
