5th Gym leader in Pokemon Sapphire-a BIG pain (he keeps beating Sunny, my Combusken, to shreds)
I'll tell you what to do.

First... get a powerful Fighting pokemon. Raise your Combusken to Blaziken.

Ghosts won't work so Shedinja is out. I tried it, all 3 know faint attack. Raise all others to level 30-35. do NOT effect their status, execpt for sleep. if you do, Facade's power will DOUBLE. use Slaking's truant abality to your advantage. get someone with Detect or Protect for the Slakings. for the Vigoroth, I can't really remember what I did for him... probebly... sceptile.
and on RUby, I was using Underused poke's *think Mightyena, Masquerain, Magcargo, etc...*

James: For some reason I'm seeing you in a nurse's uniform...
Steve: Thank you Jeff, that will be all. ... He's not here, is he? Oh God I've internalized him...

I've come close to beating him w/Combusken, however!

I used Crono/Frog/Robo for the final boss because of their strong attacks (and they were armed to the teeth, to boot) and frog/robo's healing support. I personally think Death Peak was harder than the final area, but it could also be due to the fact that my team was in the high 40s by the end.

Well, Marle has good healing skills and Magus is pretty strong too.

Kingdom Hearts - Maleficient in her dragon form was hard as hell for me. The Sephiroth battle was pretty tough too.

Final Fantasy IV - Leviathan and The Evil Wall.

Yeah, I found that to be hard as well. I had to retreat high up, leaving Donald and Goofy to do all the dirty work for me, to beat her. Doing that makes the battle 1/10th as hard (but also makes you look like a wuss).

Dragon Malificent is hard?

^_^ Guess I'm just lucky, then. I took her down easily.

Now, Kurt Zisa, that thing's a bitch. I did pretty well up until he started flying around spinning. The horizontal spins are easy to dodge (jumping over them works very well), but the vertical spins are a pain in the ass... I did beat it eventually, though.

I did that too, but just to heal and cast aeroa or whatever version I had because I know there was no way in Hell I would survive doing that on the ground. It still took me around 50 times to beat it. Then again, I was playing the game on Expert so that might have made a difference.

You have to be really fast and kill him before he can regenerate himself because everytime he does, he gets tougher. I thought he was pretty tough too, but I believe I beat him on the first or second try.

1. The Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link. I like this game unlike most people, but sometimes I think it can be TOO hard.
2. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Battling Gohma, Jahalla, and trying to aim bombs at those other bombing ships while you're riding the King of Red Lions.
3. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Beating the 5th Totema.

The final boss in FFVIII.
Jecht's second form
in FFX.

For Chrono Trigger, I like Crono, Marle, and Frog for the last boss. All three have strong attacks and can heal.
You gotta be kidding me. Yunalesca was MUCH harder than Jecht. If you had all the upgrades and ultimate weapons, he was a piece of cake.

Yunalesca wasn't that hard after I equipped deathproof and autolife on my characters. Especally when my characters did 9,000 dmamage each by that point in the game. ^_^

Oh come on, we all know Yu Yevon was the toughest final boss in all of Final Fantasy history. Jecht was just Yu's bitch that's all. >P

...

So yeah, in all seriousness, Yunalesca was definetly the toughest FFX boss. Jecht wasn't really that tough of a final boss, I barely did anything extra in the game and beat him without much of a problem. Easiest final battle sequence of any RPG I've played.
1. the Sailor Moon arcade game - Being that I've only played it emulated it's a pain to play... I know some of you know what I mean.

2. Sailor Moon Another Story (the SNES RPG) - That took me the longest to beat. Before I had collected all of the upgrades etc it was a bitch leveling up....

3. Super Smash Brothers Melee - My brother is really good at Melee but I suck... I used to play, but since I stopped playing my brother has learned all sorts of tricks that'll take me forever to catch up to.

4. Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Yeah.. I agree with all of you that said the Water Temple was one of the hardest. That took us (me and my brother) like a month to beat...

Heh.. Pretty much any game is challlenging to me because I'm not a very religious gamer. I have a friend who plays RO like 6-8 hours a day. Talk about religious.

Zelda, Final Fantasy, all these games that I felt were very difficult once I played the newest difficulty moster to hit the shelves: "Ninja Gaiden." This is without a doubt one of the most insanely difficult games I ever played, if any of you play this game it will make all previous difficult games you've played seem easy in comparison. Most of you probably won't play for one simply fact (It's on XBox, and there doesn't seem to be many XBox people here), but man if you get a chance to play this, EVERY game you've just listed as super difficult will seem easy in comparison!
