None of them really look like the characters, though Excel and Hyatt's outfits are the same colors that they wear on the show.

A link to what? I just used Sims that came with the game and named them after the characters, like I did for probably most of my anime Sims. But there are Sims for some of them available, just not ones that work on my Mac-based game:

Big List of Sims Stuff has all but the three Azumanga Daioh characters, probably because it's a newer show in America.

Well I just bought The Sims on Sunday, and I'm addicted. I'm planning on killing everyone in the neighborhood and replacing them with my minions. I'm trying to get someone to set the Goth house on fire, but the stubborn bastards aren't cooperating...

I want fire!! *big teary eyes*

If you have Livin' Large, the genie's lamp and fireworks are excellent to start fires...

otherwise, your sims will end up starting one on their own eventually. They're stupid like that...

Edit: I forgot I psoted here previously.

XD I did something similar. I made this family (with the creative last name of "Sim"), with a woman named Alexis, and three men named Justin, Adrian, and something else. Alexis is having affairs with all three of them, and I always have her kiss one of the men or have sex with them in the pink heart bed in front of the other two. It's hilarious. The men all slap each each other and cry. XD
As you can guess from what I said above, I love the Sims. <3 So fun.

I watch my Sims burn to death and watch Death himself take them away....am I the only one who gets a warm feeling from watching this?

Anthy: I tried your Floating House thing...it's kickass. ^^

NGH: If you want fire, you can put a couch right in front of a fireplace. Have the Sim start a fire in there and sit in front of the couch. Chances are that they'll die. XD I learned this the hard way...I was like, "WTF? My Sim's on fire!"

EDIT: How do you download those skins? I tried downloading some Sailor Moon ones, but when I went to play the Sims, they weren't there. Does it have to be saved in a certain file?

Yeah, I was just playing a bit of Sims 2 myself. Incredible graphics and increased intelligence. Going to be interesting to see if I can keep up with the aspirations part of it though...I have enough trouble getting them to the bathroom in time!

Hmm, I never posted here. Anyways, I think Sims are fun. My sister thas the basic set and it's really funny that the people just seem so dumb, lol. That's my opinion anyway.

I had to bring this topic back up cause a friend lent me a copy of the Sims 2 and I must say I really like it, cause it seems REALLY different from the first version.

Like, it now seems you kinda have a purpose lol. I mean, you have to watch your Sims needs, yes, but you also have to see what they'd like to achieve in their life, what they fear, you get rewarded if you manage to make them achieve what they want, and the aging thing is definitely a plus.

And the design is really better, though I don't understand why you can't change the Sims clothes (within Casual for example) from the one you chose when you made the Sim. You can change from Casual to Formal or Underwear but you can't change the Casual clothes T_T . Bah, I chose a green shirt and some kind of "military" pants anyway, not too good for casual seduction

I know I'm bumping an old topic, but of course I couldn't make a new topic just to say that. I just can't wait for the add-ons they'll be able to bring out XD !

I want Sims so badly! I remember when I was little I was over at a friends house and her older sister had Sims. She just let me make one person and wouldn't even let me do anything with her, so ever since then I've wanted it.

I just got The Sims 2 from a friend for Christmas, and I'm addicted to it. He regrets giving it to me, because now I don't leave my house.

Seriously though, it's an amazing game. I think my favorite aspect about the sequel is the genetics and the aging - it's really cool to have two of your favorite characters have a baby that gets her looks from them. And there's so many new interactions and things to do; I just love it.

I only have The Sims, Bustin´ Out and Urbz to PS2. It would be fun if the other Sims-games was realeased on PS2, because it´s fun to play these games ^.^ . I always names my Sims after my own manga-characters. It´s more fun that way =3.

The only thing that bugs me though with the Sims 2 is that it's easy to create "new" clothes by drawing over existing clothes, but you can't create "shapes" and you can't really make your own anime characters... as far as I've seen anyway T_T

I have every SIMS game and I used to be addicted to it when I didn't have a life. I finally got myself a lfe and now I never play it...ever. I bought The Sims 2 and I played it twice. I guess when can do the things you do in the Sims in reality, you just don't need that game to fulfil your day. ^_^

The Sims 2 rocks out loud. It seems like you are walking on the ground with them. There are mor choices for creating sims and neighborhoods.

Mortimer is an elder and Bella has mysteriously disappeared. There are two sisters, the Caliente sisters, who are goldiggers. they both want to marry Mortimer for his money. Casandra is engaged to a man named Don Lothario who is havin an affair with both of the Caliente sisters and his MAID! And the same maid, Kaylynn, is also having an affair with someone else.
