Thanks, but no thanks. I've been to both places before and they just ended up not working on my Mac version of the game because of the "31 letters only" rule. There have only a very very few times when I've been able to surpass that rule.

There is a program to get around that, actually. I had it somewhere, but I deleted the Sims to make room on my hard drive before I got around to using it...

I think it was called SkinShrinker or something like that.

I love The Sims. I have Livin Large, House Party, and Hot Date. It's so cool, i love going to the mall with my sims and buying other Sims gifts. This is my favorite computer game by far

I have a problem with one of my Sims...the Taiki one. She's on the science track and is up to Inventor level, which is fairly high. I can't seem to get to her next promotion, even though she's got all the skills, the family has enough friends, and she went to work in a good mood. The job thing even SAYS that she's doing good!

And I know that Inventor isn't the top level, either, because it wouldn't have had requirements for a higher level.

Judging from this, this is the computer version right? I'm having a bit of a problem...

I had The Sims installed for quite a while, but now whenever I try to get in, it takes me to the screen where it shows the house being built and such, but when it tries to go to the neighborhood, The Sims suddenly quits by itself, so I can't play it. I eventually got so frusturated I uninstalled it. Can someone please tell me what is wrong, whether it's my computer (The strange thing is, it worked before...) my disc, or something else??

If this is off topic or this is the nintendo version, I'M SORRY! If it's not and someone can explain to me what's wrong, thanks in advance!

I watch my Sims burn to death and watch Death himself take them away....am I the only one who gets a warm feeling from watching this?

I stopped playing because it was too much for my comp. to take. I had a sailor moon skin one and it was very...different. I don't like the graphics that much anymore, and...their language is corny. I miss the good ol' days of making a house and have babies and get fired and have the baby taken away. Then, my Sims started to hate each other. I need more expansions though....hehe ^_^;;; Sorry to strive from the anime skin talk.

I was surfing around for anime skins the other day (I got Vacation for Christmas; and My sister was nice enough to install the Deluxe Edition on my comp.

First site I surf to has SM skins (complete with Luna, Artemis, and Diana skins for Unleashed)...a few other series, and even some Pokemon ones (Ash, Misty, Brock, and if you have Unleashed, there's Pikachu too!)

Misty and Ash from Pokemon (Misty's an adult and Ash is a kid)
Mikage from Revolutionary Girl Utena
Hand-Maid-May from her show

I have May wearing a Sailor Moon school uniform! They're REALLY poor right now, though, because their house lot was expensive...oh well, I've seen how quickly Sims can move up the economic ladder.

I love the Sims. I used to make Bella Goth ahve so many affairs, which made Mortimor so depressed he died. Then one of the men Bella ahd an affair with got married to someone else, so Bella ahs more affairs. Now Bella has a new husband. Bella Goth is famous for her many affairs.

I understood the original Sims and Livin' Large. After that, though, I got hella confused when Hot Date and Vacation and whatever came out. I just stay in one neighborhood and build houses.

That's the greatest thing, building houses and decorating them! I make "Floating houses," too. If you support a second story with a few walls and some pillars, and then delete them, you have Le Floating House. Be sure to add a staircase.

Okay, my Mikage Sim just got turned into a Zombie by the Grim Reaper. But it seems he's pretty much normal right now...he just left for work when I last paused the game! So what's bad about a Zombie Sim, besides the green skin?

Edit:
1) I found out something that said Zombie Sims turn catatonic.
2) I deleted that family and stuck a different one in the same house, with Misty and Hand Maid May again, but it also has Heero, Duo, Quatre and Wufei in it. (Trowa's in a different house)

Currently my anime sims neighborhood consists of:
The Sailor Senshi (Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako)
The Tenchi gang (Tenchi, Ryoko, Ayeka, Sasami, Washu, Mihoshi, Kiyone)
The Cowboy Bebop gang (Spike, Jet, Faye, Edward)
The Outlaw Star gang (Gene, Jim, Melfina, Suzuka, Aisha)
Utena and Anthy
Excel and Hyatt
The Slayers (Lina, Gourry, Zel, Amelia)

The Slayers were just recently added, and with the Makin' Magic expansion pack (which I got for Xmas) they're even more fun. I'm planning on eventually moving them into Magic Town so I can free up their house and fill the neighbor with as many anime familes as possible. I also planning on adding the Magic Knights soon and doing the same with them.

In addition I've also used the Make-a-Date program (which can be downloaded from the Sims website) to replace the most of the Townies from Downtown with more anime characters, so when I send my sims downtown it's completely populated with anime characters. I absolutely love the idea of having my own extended crossover anime universe where characters from all different series hang out.

The Sims rocks. I love Hot Date. Oh, you know the Goth family, one of the default ones? Their lives got so messed up. I've played the Sims for so long. Once I made this guy, John. He at first fought with Bella Goth, but then he and Bella fell in love. Of course, Bella is married to Mortimor. It took me a long time to realize that you can play as the Goths, while all that time I was playing as the other family. So after Bella always going to John's house, Bella invites him to her home. Bella and John kiss in front of everyone, and Mortimor, the husband walks in. He slaps John. Him and John fight. Bella keeps having an affair with John and Mortimor gets depressed. Casandra, their daugther gets sent to military school. Bella and Mortimor adopt a baby. Bella still ahs affairs with John. Meanwhile, John met Cynthia. Him and Cynthia fell in love and John proposed to Cynthia. They got married. Bella still loves John. Mortimor dies of starvation. Bella tries to visit John and kiss him, but Cynthia catches them and Bella gets screwed. Bella then meets another guy, James, who she falls in love wiht. They get married and are happy together. James hates John for what he put Bella through. Now, should I leave James with Bella and John with Cynthia, or should I add soem triangles and get Bella and John back together and James with CYnthia or something? The Sims rocks.

Hehe, I used to be really into the Sims. but it got so confusing with all the expansion packs!

I was never very good at building houses but just liked decorating the houses and controlling the little people.

Final fantasy X-2, and Chobits are among the ones you didn't list...and omfg. I don't play the Sims,b ut those are ADORABLE. *cuddles them*

New Sims added today:
Revolutionary Girl Utena: Mikage
Azumanga Daioh: Sakaki, Chiyo, Tomo
Bakuretsu Hunters: Chocolate
Excel Saga: Excel, Hyatt

None of them really look like the characters, though Excel and Hyatt's outfits are the same colors that they wear on the show.
