Sonic Heroes

This is a game for Nintendo GameCube. Who here has played it, and who is your favorite team? Least favorite? Favorite level?

I've played it, and my favorite team is Team Rose, because I prefer my games to be fairly easy. Plus I LOVE Mr. Big! ^___^
Least favorite team is Team Chaotix. Its more of a detective team, and the level won't end until you find everything.

As for favorite level... Either Casino Park, Rail Canyon, or any of the Special Stages.

Opinions? Contributions?

My opinion of Sonic Heroes is: meh.

The game is more linear, to stay with the original series, but it gets boring. I still prefer the original games.

and... I HATE big... UTTERLY. I DISPISE THE CHARACTER.

The early Sonic weren't linear; they had multiple pathways through some of the levels. You must be thinking of Sonic Adventure 2. There was one set path through almost every level, and if you didn't follow that path (God forbid you want to explore), the result was death 99.9% of the time.

Sonic Heroes is a slight improvment over SA 2 in that area, but now the cheap instant deaths were even more rampant, plus you had to go through the same 14 levels four times to complete it. At the end, it's an average game, much like Sonic Adventure 2.

Awesome music and good graphics, though, and the (Japanese) voice acting is good.

That was one of the things that really disapointed me. For both Adventure games on GCN, you could change the voices to Japanese. One thing that really kinda killed my tolerance was having to listen to some of the voices... *shudder* my love for tails decreased after having to listen to THAT... not only does he sound like a 4 year old, but some of his lines make him sound like an idiot. Some of the other characters had BAD lines... at some points I wanted to shoot Charmy. they could have made a lot of inprovments on this game...

You can change the language to Japanese? I thought that was just for the subtitles only? How can I do that?

As for the lines... Yech. All they do is state the obvious, and Tails sounds like a girl... which led me to BELIEVE he WAS a girl. -_-

only in Adventure. go to options, select language, select Japanese. I've changed SSBM's language to Japanese also.

Adventure is the story mode right? Do they actually speak it, or is it just subtitles?

Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Heroes- you can only change the subtitles. ;_;

*ends that before Tiffu comes in with the mod stick*

How do all of you think of the multiplayer on Heroes? Personally- it's okay, but you can't do much multiplayer with a sonic game, they are more of single players.

Okay, this is something that's been bothering me for a while, and I've gotta get it off my chest. Can we please stop targeting the mods? I'm tired of reading things like what was just posted. If you're doing something that you know you'll get reprimanded for...DON'T DO IT. Or, if you feel you must, then do it and just don't bring it up. Don't say "*back on topic before Tiffu/Kisu/Bob/Dan/Starscream/Tempest whatever*." It's really, really annoying.

Only in the PlayStation2 version. You can also play it in Japanese on the X-BOX, but I don't know how. There is no Japanese language option on the Gamecube version.
