The first games I ever played was Zelda, Kid Icarus and Mega Man on NES. I liked them then, but now...I LOVE THEM ^.^

I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge - more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can´t put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I´d found the key to true happiness.

I own a NES, and several games with it like World Cup, Punch Out, Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt, etc. So any of the early NES games were my first. ^_^

The first ever gmae I remember playing was when I was four years old, and mom got married to my second dad. He had a SNES, so I stole it (still own it, bwahahahahaha!!!), and started playing Super Mario Kart for the SNES.

The cool thing is about that game, it has holds your records for the best top 5 racing scores. I still have old scores from 1995 that I haven't been able to beat yet (yes, I was better at that game 10 years ago than I am now. Sad, eh?)!

Are you kidding? Luigi was the coolest! I remember always wanting to play him in the two player games because you never got to play Luigi in the one-player game. The first video game system I ever owned was the NES which I got one year for Christmas back in either the late '80s or early '90s (I can't remember exactly when it was), and the first video game I remember playing was the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt game. The NES we got also came with a pack of other games including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this racing game, and this baseball game. I remember back when we used to play the baseball game, you could make your player jump up and down to catch the ball, and I would make my player jump up and down the whole time to drive everyone crazy. :twisted:

We also had an Apple computer (one of those old ones with the green screen that required a floppy disk to run everything; we actually still have it and it still works) that my uncle gave us along with a bunch of games for it. So, that's where I played some of my first computer games, which included this Winter Olympics game that was spread out on two floppy disks (the second floppy disk never worked, so I never got to finish it :cry: ), this Garfield game where you got to make your own comic strip, some edutainment games, some game where you had to answer bible trivia questions to keep Noah's Ark from sinking, Pac-Man, this space shooter game, a racing game, and Wheel of Fortune (I still never got that car they said I won).

Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, on the ol' Atari 2600. I've been an avid gamer since I was 5 years old (1989).

Let's see, I had the old school Nintendo with Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt. I'm happy I wasn't the only one who hated the dog from Duck Hunt. I had really bad aim (still do when I play the game) and the stupid dog would laugh at me!!!! AH!! I would start shooting at him!!!! STUPID DOG!! Okay, I'm done with that. On Sega...sigh..I'm embarrased to say this..but it was Power Rangers...I wanted Mortal Kombat but I got Power Rangers. SIGH!Uh, on Gameboy it was Super Mario and on Gameboy Advance it was Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. And finally on PS2, I got Grand Theft Auto 3. And that is all. I'm not a big video game person, since I am really bad at them unless it's a racing game or a game like Tekken. [/quote]

My very fist game was Duck Hunt. I was very young, and I don't really member it well. I don't know why we had an NES... I don't even remember when it was brought home. ^_^;

Then there was some Donkey Kong game on my friends system. I don't remember much of that, either. I don't even remember what system it was... I don't remember much of my early childhood, for some reason. o_O

The very fist game I fully remember playing was Tekken 2 on my brother-in-law's Play Station in New York. I played arcade mode and beat The Devil in one try. I was gleeful, and a couple of years later, I got a PS and my own copy of Tekken 2. It has the most sentimental value to me of any game. *hugs Tekken 2*

I had a Coleco Vision before getting my very own system (the Nintendo 64), so I had games like Pepper II and Mouse Trap. I had more, but since I was so little, that's all I remember. ^^;

Holy crap. I played a tonne of SNES games when I was a kid. I played every single SNES game available because I used to rent the games every week. All the Super Mario games, Earthbound and Tetris were among my favorites. I also played all the available Sonic games available for Sega and some random games for N-64 at my friend's house. I got a Game Boy pocket one for Christmas one year and got Pokemon Red version, and some other titles that I forget. I haven't played any game boy in ages. I still have my Game Boy and all the original games though.

I can remember playing Super Mario Bros. at my mom's friend's house, but the first game I ever owned was Super Mario World. My little brother and I would get into constant arguments about it. ("No, go THAT way! ... Hey, stop taking all my lives! ... MOMMMMM!!!")

I know this is going to sound really sad and kind of geeky but I've been playing video games since before I learned how to read. That being said it's hard to pinpoint my first video game or even the first game I remember playing.

Atari was my first gaming (Pong! PITFALL! Asteroids! oh god and, ET :roll: who remembers that? worst game EVER), then I played a lot of NES games. All my friends growing up were boys so I always played at their houses with their systems.

The first system I actually owned though was SNES, that was the first time I managed to convince my parents that girls should have a game system too.

Computers, uhh I'd say some of my earlier gaming was original Wolfenstein and Commander Keen, don't remember which number :D

And programming on a laptop bigger than my current desktop with QBasic all day long was the win. :lol: I did that alllll the time.

Oh. My. God.

You sound exactly like me, which, frankly, scares me a bit. I have all those Atari games mentioned, and I actually won a programming competition with Qbasic, and I was pitted against people using C++ and Visual Basic, etc...

I thought I was the only one THAT nerdy on the forums... (No offense, it's actually nice to "meet" someone else who does the same things every now and again...)
