I recently bought a game called Dance Factory, for the PS2. It's basically a dance simulator, much like DDR or In the Groove, but you can put your own music on it. That's one of the only upsides of the game though. The other upside is, you can buy backround 'themes' to go with your songs. But like DDR Extreme 2 and DDR Supernova, you need to collect points to buy things. Another upside is, you can dance to FULL versions of any song you put on there (or any song, for that matter). The downsides being, graphics aren't really too good, the arrows are too far apart from each other (and if you're a hardcore DDR player, you'll notice the up and down arrow have switched places with each other), and the arrows hardly ever synch with the music.

But if you're just a casual DDR kind of player, then the game should be really fun. Even if the arrows never really synch with the music.

Pokémon Diamond

Though I guess that doesn't count until release Sunday when the game is actually purchased. Power abuse FTW. I'll enter my friend code on Sunday on the actual release date. The styluses are really nice, and the holder for reserving both is really nifty. Time to play so I can pwn y'all on Sunday. XD

Eh, the stylus is too heavy for me, as I tend to play for hours at a time. Even the stylus with the Lite feels like it isn't even there by comparison. I got Pearl and got it at an early release at around 8:00. I was first in line :D. I kept myself in the dark about the game on purpose, and it pwns all the more as a result. (The first time since Gold and Silver that I can go "WTF is THAT?!?!?") I haven't gotten the Wifi card, yet, but it doesn't stop you from accessing the mini-games!

The reason I got Pearl was because I knew everyone else who was getting only one copy was getting Diamond, so my unique pokemon will be more in demand.

Got Pearl. I just picked it at random when I reserved a copy of one of the games... *shrug*

I'm trying to use only new poke's for my run... but I gave up and started levelling a Ponyta. still counts. XD Never used it before, sooo... yeah.

Funny fact: Every single Kid I know at school that got a copy of PKMN... picked the EXACT. SAME. STARTER. All of us picked POCHAMA/PIPLUP. I just about died.

Funny side-note. We had the lists of who reserved each one printed out to determine who would get the styluses and stylus holders to be fair and give them to the early reservations. It turns out that I was the first one to place a reserve on the game in our store. XD 1st one for Diamond, and 6th one for Pearl, and the first one combined of the two. I would've taken a picture of the list(s), but I didn't want to edit out all the phone numbers, nor show off other people's names.

Command and Conquer 3 (Kane's edition of course....major C&C fan here) - it was good, but wasn't as awesome in some respects (PC game, btw)

New Super Mario Bros.

I'm both glad and sad. Glad, because I needed some platforming goodness after so much time with crappy knockoffs. Besides, I hadn't bought a new DS game in OVER A YEAR.

Sad, because I actually chose this over Final Fantasy 3. NSMB lasted me about a day or two before I got 100%. I'm sure I would still be playing FF3 right now.

I recently bought these games for my DS:

~Daigasso! Band Brothers Request Collection
You need Daigasso! Band Brothers first before you get this; this is simply an expansion pack that plugs into the GBA port.

~Zaidanhoujin Nippon Kanji Nouryoku Kentei Kounin: KanKen DS
This game is ultra sweet for those of you learning Japanese. It drills you on kanji in various games. In one game for example, it will have a sentence and then the kanji you have to identify will be in red. You then have to write the hiragana for it and the game will register your handwriting and it will pop up as text. It's super picky about your stroke order though because if you don't write something properly, it will register your writing as something else. I've found I had to erase and rewrite things quite a bit.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you do need to know your hiragana and katakana before you would ever make any use of this game.

~Kanji Sonomama Rakubiki Jiten
This is a dictionary game. I wouldn't really qualify it as a game. It's just an electronic Japanese-English/English-Japanese dictionary. It has some pretty cool features. You can access the Picto-Chat rooms directly from the game without having to reset your DS and go to the Picto-Chat via the start-up screen. It also has an alarm clock and some other features I haven't had the chance to check out yet.

I also bought the Web Browser (DS Lite version, European edition). From what I've read, this is cool. I've read this is cool for checking things like email for forums. You can't watch videos, view flash sites or download files. But I kind of expected that because I can't imagine the DS supporting that much. This is still currently in the mail; I'm expecting it to get to my house this week sometime.

Okay, so now I'm a bit choked that I bought the European Web Browser for my DS.

According to the email I just received from Nintendo, it will be released this June in Canada. These are the details.

So for those of you who want this, don't bother to order it from Play Asia. Save yourself some money and wait for the domestic release.

I bought Sega Superstars and Eye Toy Play 3 + Eyetoy-cam some weeks ago. They are very funny to play (and I get some exercise at the same time ^_^)

Well, because of my birthday, I got Windows Vista, which means: HALO 2 FOR PC. *puts it on relatives list* ANyways...

Pokemon: Battle Revolution for Wii
(So far, I like it. you're told how to put poke's from D/P on as soon as you start the game. you're clear with that.)

Wii Points--
StarFox 64 (Awesomeness.)

And, I broke my gaming vow--I bought a Final Fantasy game.

I bought a used copy of:
Final fantasy IV Advance. *hides in shame*

Joe and I bought the Harry Potter OotP game, simply because the thought of using the Wiimote as a wand kicks all kinds of ass. Also, the awesome gaming chick at GameStop recommended it, and awesome gaming chicks = win.

We also bought Silent Hill 2, since I have always wanted to play the Silent Hill games, and I was told that one was the scariest. We've barely gotten started, and it's already pretty fucking creepy. Pyramid head = omg.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I recently imported Vampire: Darkstalkers Collection and SVC Chaos: SNK vs Capcom for Japanese PS2.

For American PS2, I got Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Xenosaga (Namco x Capcom got me curious about that game since Shion, KOS-MOS and M.O.M.O are in that game)

Picked up Picross DS today. I love the puzzles, the price is right with only $20, and I already paid for half of it as soon as we got the SKU put up for it. It's better than I expected, being able to race with people either locally or over the Wifi, share puzzles with other friends, and it looks like Nintendo is going to release puzzle packs online as well, which is just awesome. Definitely recommended for any puzzle fan. If anyone played Mario Picross for the original GB back in 1995 (or even Mario no Super Picross for the SFC for us importers), then you already know what to expect and more.

I'll have Mario Strikers Charged finally sometime this week. Since I can't afford to get it myself until at least I finish fixing my credit (mid-September-ish), my boss is letting me borrow his copy that Nintendo gave him until I can buy mine. He doesn't have a Wii yet and won't be getting one until around Christmas, so he's being awesome letting me use his so the game gets some use rather than the none it would get if he kept it. I can't wait, twas quite fun when I played with one of my buddies last week and I'm looking forward to what's unlockable, the single player modes, and most importantly, pwn newbs over the Internet. =P
