My most recent buy was The Urbz: Sims in the City, and The Sims: Busting Out! I should probably sell Busting Out! though, it isn't as good.

Last few we've bought have been:
- Guild Wars
- We <3 Katamari
- Animal Crossing: Wild World (for me for Christmas~)
- Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (for Dave for Christmas~)
I really want to pick up Soul Calibur III (PS2), plus Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright for the DS, but those will wait till after the holidays.

Black and White 2 - I'm having fun with my cow at the moment.
Everybody was a baby once, Arthur. Oh, sure, maybe not today, or even yesterday. But once. Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you''ve got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception.
Not a purchase of my own, but my most recent game recieved as a gift...
Mario Kart DS
Coming from someone who's been a big MarioKart fan since the SNES (I was a master at the original
) ... it is fun as heck. But Dan needs to stop beating me. >: (
Oh and Ni-Ban, I agree about Soul Calibur III... ;_; Character creation mode looks freakin' sweeeet.

A word of warning: if you're planning to buy SoulCal3 solely based on the character creation, rent first. There are only 3 slots to save a character, and it's more like a dress-up game than actual creation. I like the way they do movesets, but a lot of people don't. I bought the game cold, and I'm happy with it overall, but not for the creations.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"
The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

*shrugs* early post I guess, but I know of one game I'm getting for Christmas:
mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
sequel to Superstar Saga, which I never played, but saw the speed run of it... adn just laughed non-stop. that game was crazy, and Mario RPGs tend to be really good, and a good laugh too. XD

You can buy extra slots for custom characters at the Item Shop. I agree, though, that there's really little for there to customize other than your character's appearance.Sailorasteroid wrote:A word of warning: if you're planning to buy SoulCal3 solely based on the character creation, rent first. My most recent game was Final Fantasy 4 Advance. I'm loving it so far. This is probably the best version of FF4 out in the US so far.

Last night, I bought DDR EXTREME 2. And by God, it was a LOT better than I thought it would be (minus the crappy cover of "Oops I Did It Again" and a few of the rap songs -__-). It's definetely a lot better than the first DDR EXTREME, a very obvious improvement, indeed.
The songs were all pretty good, too. Currently, my favorite song is "Irresistablement"... I think that's what it's called, but I'm more than certain that the song title really isn't a word o___O;;; .
The graphics are good, not as distracting, and not as bright (I could have sworn, the very first time I played DDRMAX, that I had retinal damage @[email protected]).
Plus I like the cover. :3 I'm a fan girl when it comes to blue. XD So, am I happy I made this purchase? Hell yeah.
Last night, I also bought Banjo Kazooie, totally forgetting why I stopped playing in the first place.... It was ANNOYING! LOL, but it's still fun to play... Brings back some memories. ^_^

Not exactly accurate. You can buy more slots at the Items Shop.Sailorasteroid wrote:A word of warning: if you're planning to buy SoulCal3 solely based on the character creation, rent first. However, the number of slots is doubled since you can load from cards from both Slot 1 and Slot 2 (though you'll need two memcards to do that).
But SC3's character creation has nowhere near the level of detail the Smackdown! series has been using for years.
You seem like the kind of person who'll lie.
However... this sword doesn't lie.

I got quite a few new games for Christmas. Mostly GBA games.
-Donkey Kong Country 2+3 (I've been searching for the original one for months and not even my parents could find it.. was it a limited edition game? Why don't any stores carry it anymore?)
-Dr Mario & Puzzle League
-Mother 1+2 (Earthbound- It's not actually in my posession yet, but will come in the mail soon)
I didn't get all the games I wanted for Christmas, so since it was Boxing Day today, I got some good deals on:
-Mario Kart DS (definately the most challenging Mario Kart game I've played so far!)
-Wi-Fi connector

Well, I see multiple copies on eBay, and they're reasonably priced, so I'd say they weren't limited edition.RoastedTwinkies wrote:-Donkey Kong Country 2+3 (I've been searching for the original one for months and not even my parents could find it.. was it a limited edition game? I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge - more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can´t put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I´d found the key to true happiness.

Bad luck! I´m are suffering from Rivalee´s Syndrome.
Cause: thinking too hard
Symptoms: aphasia, vague gills, mildly squeaky voice, eyelid swelling
Cure: cryogenic freezing until science catches up

I'm not a big fan of ebay. I've heard too many horror stories about people getting ripped off on there, so I'm afraid of even going on there ^_^;Slrjoecool wrote:Well, I see multiple copies on eBay, and they're reasonably priced, so I'd say they weren't limited edition.
I haven't been able to find them in any local retailers anywhere. I find it odd that none of them seem to carry it.
