We've done consoles so now list your GAMES!

Video games and anime sometimes tie in with each other, plus video games kick ass. =P Discuss them here.

ign....LOL

ahem.. so loading a little extra text on a message board is worse then having to load up an entire site and page? ok.

then I'll just say I have/had 128 games. 128? Pretty fitting considering the generation we're in.

With such big lists, I can't allow this thread to go on if everyone types up their game lists in a post. Now if anyone wants to use IGN's collection tool and provide a link to their collection, or any other method that doesn't use up so much space on a post, feel free to do that.

Luchia, please edit down your post to do something like that, it's just way too much space to go scrolling through.

With all that, my collection at my best knowledge up to this previous spring (will update soon) can be found at http://users.ign.com/collection/marioknight

Ok, what did I just post over half an hour ago in this thread? Come on people, geez! -_-;;;; yoshmaster, you have an hour to edit that post or it get's canned. I would just can it myself right now, and honestly really should since you felt it was necessary to ignore my post, but I don't want you to lose that work if you just made it right then because I know what a pain in the ass it is.

Yes, because it is our webspace and bandwidth and such that is being used for these forums. All over the rules, there are regulations listed to minimize the amount of space in posts visually as well as actual filesize. Upon seeing yours and mine lists, I felt that big video game (and anime DVD) lists were a huge waste of visual space, your own list by itself caused the scroll bar to become really small, smaller than most threads have before a new page of posts is made. By compliling these long lists to a link, it's more visually pleasing to those browsing the forums, and also gives users the options of whether or not to go to the seperate lists or not, rather than letting all the time to let huge threads load up for little content. Posts should generally not be so big, there are some exceptions, and big lists aren't included in the exceptions list. Any further discussion of this policy should be either in PM or in a seperate thread in the Other SMU discussion forum.

Also, a little sidenote, if you're going to respond to a post that was made following yours, instead of editing your first post with the response to the following post, a new post should be made for possible confusion reasons as well as to ensure your post get's seen. The initial post should've only had the editted down list (or your frown face like you had before), not a written response. I almost missed that little post and as you can see, it is one that I wanted to respond to.

Now everyone, back on topic please.

I decided this past weekend to arrange some of my things in my own databases and such, the first thing being my massive video game collection. You can see what I've done in the URL below:

http://www.smuncensored.com/~marioknight/games/

I kind of want to make it a bit shinier, but I think I'll worry about that later. There's a bunch of info I still would loike to add in when I have the time to look through my head for various dates and such. Eventually, I plan to have all those "No image availble yet" pics with various things, such as pics and logos of all the systems, coverart of all the game boxes and guides, and two screencaps of each game (which definetly won't happen until summer). I still have to add in all my guides, will probably do that in the next couple days.

Let me know what you think, and feel free to add more lists. ^_^
