Buddy, if you think I'd pick up, let alone buy, a game published and developed by Sony that doesn't have the word "Parappa" in the title, you're crazy. I refused to buy PlayStation RPGs published by Sony when I saw Beyond the Beyond, a game that makes the SNES Final Fantasies look like graphic powerhouses.

Though I may play the Wild Arms series one day..

And how was he supposed to know that? Calm down a bit. Your post came off, at least to me, a bit edgy.

To Aya Reiko: Okay, no. There is no need to be rude about this. You blatantly insulted anyone who enjoyed FFVIII, then get uppity when someone replies. If you don't like the game, that's fine. But some people do, and you will respect that opinion.

To everyone else: Understand that some people do have different opinions than you do. If someone doesn't like a game that you do, there is no need to defend that game. We've had the debate over FFVIII in the Final Fantasy thread. Feel free to continue this POLITELY there, or start up a new thread if you wish to disagree with someone on a game.

To everyone described above: If these suggestions are not followed, this topic will be locked.

I was attempting to be funny. However, one can't tell that by reading text on a forum that I was saying that in a joking matter....instead, I sounded mean. Sorry.

I used to love those sorts of games, it maybe be hard at first to catch up with the rhymes and tunes but the more you practice on each part the more you improve, it's one of those sorts of games where you can learn them after an hour.

SAILOR WIND: I said not to defend a game that someone else has listed. Opinions differ, and that needs to be understood.

The worst game I ever brought? It´s only 2;

1. Final Fantasy 2. I love the series, but this was too hard to play. I prefer the level-up system in the other games (dunno how it look in FF3, FF11-12) instead of FF2´s system.

2. Gransteam Saga. I liked the music and the animated sequences, but the control sucks, and what in the name of the Moongoddess is with them being faceless?? I have only one thing to say about that game; Can someone give me an aspirin?

I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge - more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can´t put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I´d found the key to true happiness.

I fully agree with you. There´s some games/movies I don´t like, but if other likes them, so be it. I don´t treat them like garbage or stop being with them just because of that. Nobody can´t be like others, like my Ma always says. Sailor Moon Says

1) Do not double post. That is listed in the rules. If you want to add something, EDIT your previous post.

2) There is no need to add to Parakiss's mod post. Leave it be, and don't respond to it. The point of his post was to get EVERYBODY back on topic and to quit discussing the matter at hand. So do so, please.

I have one that just happened to my cousins yesterday.

We were at my Grandma and Grandpa's, and we were opening presents from other family members. *I have about 17 cousins, and we have a cousin x-mas drawing* So, my cousin Nick got Alex, and my uncle bob didn't know what systems to get him. *Uncle Bob, Nick, Jessica, and Erica live in Asheboro, NC. Uncle bob does at least, Jess is in college, and Nick and Erica live with their mom and stepdad* So Alex opens his present. we see the back and its Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban game. for PS2. and one word- my family is HIGHLY NINTENDO AND SEGA FANBASED. none of us own an X-box, and Nick is the only one who owns a PS2. So Alex got a game he can't play. And then my cousins Matthew and Ryan got two copies of these games: Sonic Adventure DX, and Sonic Mega Collection.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories- not since I played Final Fantasy VIII has it been a bigger chore for me to get through a game. Cheap enemies, lame music, boring, freakishly slow story, and only two new areas not already in the original game.

I have another one to add to my list form way back when: Dark Cloud 2. I got it for Christmas (it was my last choice on a list) and it wasn't what I expected, at all. The atmosphere of the game, story and characters did absolutely nothing for me, and I hated those repetitive dungeons. I barely put any hours into DC2. I traded it yesterday.

And I'm surprised that I forgot FF9. I played through it once, and never again. I was pleased with the ending and one character (Beatrix). Practically everything else was lame. I gave the game to my brother, so we still have it...

Hmm...I try to research my games pretty carefully before I buy them, so I don't think I've ever bought a game and then said "Well, I just wasted 50 dollars".

The only game I've ever bought that I completely and utterly regret is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I spent 3 months trying to figure out what everyone was raving over, but I couldn't, so I just let my roommate have it.

I'm getting really fucking tired of saying this: STOP DEFENDING GAMES. If you disagree with someone, post your reasons for liking it in it's respective topic. If the game doesn't have a topic, make one. This is for people to LIST THE GAMES THEY DIDN'T LIKE. Not for you to defend games you did like. I am not saying this again. The next time it happens, the topic will be locked.
