Desperately Seeking Saturn

Post by Mendoza » Mon Jul 19, 2004 5:39 pm

Im on the hunt for a Sega Saturn game system.
I have had a saturn since 1995, but yesterday when i drug it out of the closet to play some Virtua Cop(with the great stunner arcade gun) I was shocked to find that not only had the battery gone dead, but the system was acting heywire. I fear it has shuffled off this mortal coil and goine to the big used game shop in the sky
Vaya con dios good buddy :(
So now i am left with several good games and hook ups that work and a main unit that is fragged.
I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion about where to go about buying a new system.
I have been looking on ebay but the deals are useualy full of games that i already own(Damn my good taste in gaming but i dont need two copies of virtua fighter 2)
Im primarily interested in online stores or sites, but i would even entertian a private dealerif thats the best way to pick one up.
Thanks

Check a pawn shop near your house. I've seen several older systems in the ones near me, including Saturns.

They shouldn't charge more than $20. It depends on the the shape of the system, how long ago they bought it, etc.

A good place to search for old systems like Sega Saturn and the old Nintendo's is to check out a Flea Market if you have one near you ^_^ i was at a flea market one day and i say a ton of old systems ^_^ which included many Sega Saturns
