FLCL is back tonight!

Here's something I noticed about FLCL, or rather the fans. How come very few people like both FLCL and Excel Saga. I personally love them both. They're both crazy as hell, and they both have insane characters. What makes Excel fans dislike FLCL, and vice versa? (If this is off-topic, then just let me know and I'll create a new one.)

Ive never watched/read excel saga although I plan to It sounds good from what I've heard

Really? I haven't really heard of any people who dislike both Excel Saga and FLCL. Then again, I am a bit unobservant.
I'm so very glad that FLCL is back on.
Excel Saga is insane with a surprising plot (heh) while FLCL is insane in...uh...a different way...

This is good & bad news for me..it's good because I finally can tape FLCL all on one tape, but it's bad because I missed one of the new eps of Inuyasha and I swore to myself I'd get it before FLCL came back..but I forgot ^^;

i really like both. im begging to read both excel saga and FLCL manga, and ive watch up to the 4th dvd of excel and downloaded about 3 or 4 ish epsiodes on my computer. i have to say, i kinda like the manga characters in both, and i dont like excels dub voice. so, its showing on saturdays correct?

Hrm..I love Excel and can't stand FLCL..I don't like the art in FLCL, and the characters annoy the crap out of me for some reason (especially that damn girl on the bike, swinging the guitar). To me, Excel Saga is NOTHING like FLCL, and vice versa.
Excel Saga has a lot of humor that people can relate to, and it's got a lot of smart humor, if you pay attention. There is also a hint of drama toward the end of Excel, and I'm a sucker for drama.
I just tried so hard to get into FLCL, and i just cringe everytime it's on. I've even tried the Japanese version, and I feel the same way.

I have seen all of FLCL and I liked all of it. I have never read the Manga and I probably won't never get around to it due to me being short on cash.

I want to see Excel Saga, I have no idea when I will though.
