Booting off Inu-trasha for another 3 week go is fine by me!
Since AS is now 6 hours long it'll actually be getting 4 runs as opposed to 2 this time around.
Oh and Kikaider also comes back tonight! Or is that next week? Either way it'll be giving Bebop its second rest this fall which is fine cause I love Kikaider!

As much as I like Inuyasha, I'm glad FLCL is back. That show was very...odd(but in a fun way

)
I'm lost for words at the moment >_<

Finally! Someone else that doesn't like Inu-yasha. I didn't like FLCL either. I thought it was pointless. So i'm not going to see it this time around ^^;
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I'm mad.

I didn't know FLCL was coming back, so I set my VCR to tape a few mins. ago. When I came out of the shower a found FLCL taping OVER The Man Who Fell in Love With Kagome. I just fumed. I don't like FLCL nearly as much as I LOVE InuYasha.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

As I stated awhile back, my only comment on FLCL is …¡¿ o_0 ?!…
I'll feel a little safer at night once its run is over.

Well I just watched the first episode and...WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
That's all I have to say about that.
But it's free anime, I'll have to watch the next few eps at least.

Luchia: 1) What? (the 52 '04 stuff)
2) What do you mean it dosen't belong there? I'm getting tired of the constant reruns too but I need to tape some things. And it's starting at eppy 1? Yay! Now I can finally do some wrap up taping to my first two IY tapes and break their tabs! Woohoo!

It's clearly not an adult series and it's very rarely mature.
52 '04 means guh....52 more new episodes in 2004.

And that is clearly your opinion and not everyone else's.
You need to learn to express your opinion as simply that, and not as a fact.

It's the blood and gore (though this is toned down considerably from the manga, I hear) and Miroku's antics that primarily got Inuyasha its spot on Adult Swi, I think.

What opinion? Anything past the end of the first Sango arc is not mature and could easily be toned down in the same way YuYu Hakusho was.
It's a fact that this is a teen, not adult, series. The manga in Japan runs in a TEEN magazine. The series is on at a teen-friendly timeslot.
The constant repetition of plot points and things that just happened would not be in an adult series as they do not need to be talked down to and reminded of every little thing that's happened.

Your opinion that it isn't an adult series. That can be argued, in the same way that the maturity of sailor moon can be argued. It depends on the audience, the location, the way it's presented, censorship...You need to express such a point in a manner that shows it's your opinion and not a fact.

The dub is great. I've read that one of the Gainax people came over from Japan to help with the VA selection to make sure it stayed true to the original. And having listened to both the Jp and Eng audio on the dvds I'd say they did a mighty fine job.
