Not a big leap in my collection, but I finally got Trigun Volume one and it is quite big O.o It is worth the 15$ compared to 10$ of 1/3 of the size. And a little back I got Ayashi No Ceres 2nd edition volume 1 and Revolutionary Girl Utena Shojo Edition ^^ I liked them both.

There were a lot of things in the manga that bothered me...mainly because Juri and Utena seem completely smitten with Touga, and in the anime, she's completely not the case (especially with Juri.) I dunno, it's beautiful artwork and somewhat interesting, but I love the anime more.LadyFlameSniper wrote:I recently picked up Utena volume 3. So far so good. But I think I still like the anime more. It's more original because of all the weirdness and symbolism.
Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I'm adding Excel Saga vol. 1 to my list. Technically I don't get it until tomorrow, but I know I'm getting it...

I'm up to 5 on Ragnarok, and I recently purchased .hack//legend of the twilight 2 and Shirahime-Syo. I would have gotten Clover (at least the first one) for Xmas, but Hastings only had volume 3. Hastings' inability to count is a big problem. "1, 2, 5, 10, 23!" <----actual experience with the Cowboy Bebop tapes they had for rental.
**A quick question for everyone: Is it just me, or is it REALLY hard to find the Infinity Arc of Sailor Moon? I've been looking EVERYWHERE, and I can't find it. Waldenbooks, my manga god, has every arc but that one, and so does hastings! I want that arc so bad, but I can't find it.

I'm actually up to 7 on Ragnarok, now. I *NEED* to get into Waldenbooks and get Megatokyo 2 and the shirt, but it seems I am at a standstill in my manga purchasing (I blew $20 on My Little Pony goodness instead). I saw Shaman King 2 at Musicland, and decided not to buy it because I *thought* it would be at Waldenbooks...it was not. I have Preferred Reader status at Waldenbooks, so Shaman King would have only been like $6.50 as opposed to the SRP of $7.99. I'm also considering stopping my Ragnarok collecting because there's suppoosedly gonna be like 50 of them, and thats a lot o moneys. I shall press on, tho. Oh, I doubt this counts, but I also collect the Sonic the Hedgehog comics. I'm current on those, but have a few gaps in my collection.

Japanese Sailor Moon #8 (I can use manga for Japanese reading practice!)
MiXX Sailor Moon ALL
Magic Knights Rayearth: 1-3 (it was the golden box set)
Wedding Peach: 1-3
Ranma 1/2: 4 to 5 random volumes
Tokyo Mew Mew: 1-4
As you can see, I'm a fan of magical girl teams.
But I generally prefer anime to manga, and, naturally, I think my anime collection is larger.

Made a trip to Waldenbooks yesterday. Got Megatokyo 2 and Shaman King 2. They didn't have the shirt. But they had new InuYasha designs and a new series that I can't remember the name of. Was gonna get Ragnarok 8, but they didn't have it. They had like 5 copies of 7, no 8, and three copies of 9. And 10. I considered a few others, but decided against them. Ah, my sister got Cardcaptor Sakura Master of the Clow 1 or whatever. And Walendbooks still doesn't have the S arc. Ah well. I guess a plus to all this was my two manga only cost $11.95. Preferred Reader and five dollar coupons rock.
