How does anyone like this show? Got any favorite characters?
I've seen all the episodes aired on TV so far, and I've download episode 26 online. For a mecha show, it's really good. I'm kinda dissapointed at season 2, it seems to way to much like 'EVA'. The messages in episode 25 really remind me of EoE. The digital animation is season 2, is also something I don't like. It makes everything look so dull.
I have alot of favorite characters. For me, I really like Dorothy, and Dan. But my favorite character of all is Eugene, he only appears in on episode, but he's so cool! @@

I tried to watch it when it first started, but I can't get over the "Batman" Feel to it. I didn't findout until about a month after it aird that it was suposed to be like Batman. I tried watching it again, and it was alright. I mean and Roger is pretty cool. I'm just tired of mecha animes.
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I watched the first season back when it first aired on Toonami all those years ago, and thought it was OK but not particularly compelling. I've tried to watch the second season on Adult Swim, but I keep missing it. I missed the first few episodes but I didn't know it was on. Then I started watching it anyway, but I had to leave town for a funeral in my family and missed the next few weeks. I did see last weeks episode and maybe I'll try to catch it tonight.
