I haven't seen Warriors/Frostbite Falls no Nausicaä (so called because even though June Foray didn't voice Zandra, it sounds like she did), but one of my favourite bad movie quotes is from that movie:

"What kind of monsters are you Tomekulans? The people of this peaceful valley tried to save your spaceship last night!"

(spoken while Yupa is holding the Torumekian soldiers at bay. Note that the last place the ship had been was on the same planet--and the Torumekians have little use for spaceships).

Actually, I was inspired by the WOTW cover to write a story (also called Warriors of the Wind). It would have had me giving the characters these names:

Paul Atreides: Asbel
Robo-Wan Kenobi: Yupa
Pegasus Guy: Kurotowa
Refit Mehve girl: Zandra
Jedi God Soldier: Jhil

(NOTE: Paul Atreides looks nothing like what he should, and the God Soldier having the Lightsabre is a reference to the opening sequence)
"That new girl? She seems kinda weird to me. And what kind of name is Buffy anyway?"
"Hey, Aphrodisia!"
--unaired Buffy pilot

If you're reading this, then you've lost the game.

Warriors of the Wind is not going to be released on DVD, but Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, the original Japanese version of the movie is along with an unedited re-dub of the movie produced by Disney. It was already stated earlier in this thread that it was planned for a release in August '04, but another thread around here somewhere said that the release has been delayed. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I've heard that the latest Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is going to be released on DVD is this December, but don't quote me on that. As I said earlier, this will not be Warriors of the Wind, but Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, the original Japanese version of the film.
"If we can''t comprehend the plan at hand, how could a higher plan make any more sense? I'd say you can only be a martyr if you know what you are dying for, and choose it"-Elphaba

"Those who made mistakes blame themselves and close their hearts. It's impossible to fix a mistake. Man can't return to the past. That's why we drink. Drunks, lushes, sliding alcohol down their throats to dilute the memories that can't be denied.-Vash The Stampede"

They re-released Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa in Japan late last year; it's got English subtitles and is fantastic quality. That is, if you can't wait for the American release.
