Come one planes that tranform into three different forms. Hovercycles that become personal armor. It has romance, action, adventure, and sweet future weapons. Need I say more. Who would you chose Lynn-Minme or Lisa Hayse. (if this is even how you spell their names  ) .

Alot of people say that Robotech was a very bad English dub. I haven't seen the Japanese version of it yet, but I am aware of the cuts and changes that were made to create it and personally, I find it to be a rather creative dub. It's interesting how they can combine the plots of three seperate anime and still have the story make sense. I think that if you're going to change the plot of any anime when dubbing it, the most important thing is that it should make sense.
"If we can''t comprehend the plan at hand, how could a higher plan make any more sense? I'd say you can only be a martyr if you know what you are dying for, and choose it"-Elphaba

"Those who made mistakes blame themselves and close their hearts. It's impossible to fix a mistake. Man can't return to the past. That's why we drink. Drunks, lushes, sliding alcohol down their throats to dilute the memories that can't be denied.-Vash The Stampede"

This is just my personal opinion, but, the entire "Robotech" series was three series put into a blender and someone hit "Frape`" and turned them into mush. I could be wrong about the whole series.

I'm writing this Sailor Moon/Green Lantern crossover AU fic called "Emerald Sunrise". It's a hybrid of Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Comedy. It's about Ami (Sailor Mercury) getting a new boyfriend who just happens to be a member of The Green Lantern Corps. I'm also throwing in some other characters from other animes and some old Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the late '60's early '70's. I'm also illustrating it as well. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.

I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but I remember LOVING this show - I think it may very well have been the first anime show I fell in love with, unless "Voltron" or "Speed Racer" was aired first. To this day, it still holds a really special place in my heart, and, in my opinion, is better than any Gundam series to date. I could do without Minmei's singing, though -_-..

At any rate, now that the three original series from which "Robotech" was created (Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Calvary Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospaeda), I may have to hoard some money away in the future to try and pick them all up. I'd like to pick up the "Re-mastered" released of "Robotech", just to see how it all compares together.
