Dirty Pair

It's one of my favorite anime now, and my avatar is dedicated to it (for a while anyway) so discuss it. I love its songs.

For one thing, I've not seen a character who acts like Yuri who has her hair color. It just seems kind of different. I've only seen two episodes of Dirty Pair, though, I'm just going by what I've heard about her. It just seems like the characters with the dark blue hair aren't usually ditzy and/or quick-tempered.

I have a few original "Dirty Pair" eps in the original Japanese and three Dirty Pair movies (OAVs). I just had a VERY scary thought. What would happen if Kei and Yuri met......... Superman??

I saw a few episodes of Dirty Pair Flash, but not very much, so I don't really know what exactly it is about.

On a bit of a side note, there are apparently a ton of "Dirty Pair" references (among other anime) in Star Trek: The Next Generation. http://www.tky.hut.fi/~otakut/faqs/Anime-StarTrek.txt has a good listing of all the references, but the Dirty Pair ones stand out as the most frequent (using element names like yurium, poly-keiyurium, etc.)

Dirty Pair rox! Both Flash and original. I think Flash has better stories but Original is funnier.

So do I. I absolutely love both Keis, but I think I like Flash Kei more. It's probably that hair, her seiyuu (Matsumoto Rica, now of Pokemon fame as Satoshi), her seiyuu's singing ("Suriru ni Koishite", aka "Chance!"), and her funnyness. Plus, for all the lecherous beasts out there, as the 3WA computer says, "If you can't tell she's female, you need your eyes examined!"

Here's a nice one:
A woman grabs Toma- the guy Kei and Yuri are supposed to be bodyguarding- by the arm and drags him into an alley. They run into the alley, only to find that the woman is- a man.
"Being a female impersonator was a common part of 20th century life! You're a female impersonator youself, wouldn't you agree?"
Kei: "GRRRR...ORE WA ONNA DA! (I am a female!)
Transvestite: OH SHIIIIIIIIIIIITTTT!
Apparently, a whole lot of people need to go the eye doctor.

Yet another one of my "help me" questions: Does anyone know where to download the Flash songs? I found the Original songs already. And also, hooray! All I need now is four more episodes and I will have all of Flash on tape. Then I need to get 5 more eps of Original, 3 of which come on this week, to have all the OVA eps.
