I don't think anyone knows that yet? Hopefully it's very, very long, since there's a good 26+ volumes of manga that I'd like to see animated...LadyFlameSniper wrote:I'd love to see the tv series but I don't have enough space at hte moment either. how many episodes is it?
"Tell my tale to those who ask... tell it truthfully, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence..." last words of Dinobot, "Code of Hero"
"Is that a poisonous elephant in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" ~another forum
"Monster! I''''m going to collide with you indefinitely as my limbs flail wildly about!" ~NPC, Dragon Warrior VII
"I bet you were thinking how hot it would be to see Tsunade with her gates wide open, inviting you..." ~DuneMan
"To use gaming terms, Tyrannosaurus Rex was a camper--- and he pwned his prey!" ~BaronVonAwesome
"I prefer to beat my opponents the old-fashioned way: brutally!" ~Dinobot

The Solar fansub of the first episode seemed very good. Don't know about the others.
And I believe the series has been commissioned for 26 episodes at this time, but it's highly probable that there'll be many more than that. The fact that they're taking the series so slowly seems to indicate this (given that the manga courrently has about 200 chapters, and it's taken them two episodes just to do the first chapter)...
Incidentally, I liked the fact that the first episode was mainly a character piece for Keiichi. It makes him a much more sympathetic character than either the OVA and the manga, where within a few minutes/pages he's got Belldandy hanging off him. It must have been a strain on the animators to hold back on the bishoujo for almost an entire episode, but I commend them for it ^_^

Amazoness! Because men seldom make passes at girls who routinely kill men.
Here's a page of screencaps comparing several different fansubs.

According to Anime News Network Media Blasters has the rights to the new TV series.
Oh My Goddess TV, Genshiken, Hinotori, and Phantom Acquired by Media Blasters (2005-02-20 10:57:59)
At their Katsucon panel today, Media Blasters announced that they hold the rights to the Oh! My Goddess TV series, Genshiken, Hinotori, and a 3-part OVA called Phantom. John Sirabella said that he believed that they also has the rights for Kujibiki Unbalance (the show watched by the Genshiken characters), but has to double check. A full panel report will follow later, which will also include their live action acquisitions.
Remember, every downhill has its uphill.
