To kick off the new action block, Adult Swim presents The Animatrix on Saturday, April 17, at 11 p.m. (ET, PT).

InuYasha.

Wolf's Rain: Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Wolf's Rain premieres on Adult Swim in April. Cartoon Network has acquired 26 episodes of Wolf's Rain, which begins Saturday, April 24 at 11:30 p.m. (ET, PT).

Witch Hunter Robin.

Case Closed: The detective series Case Closed, which joins Adult Swim in June, is adapted from the popular Japanese weekly manga Detective Conan, which has been published since 1994.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Coming to Adult Swim in October.

The Adult Swim starting Saturday, April 24
ne-up is as follows
11 p.m.
InuYasha
11:30 p.m.
Wolf’s Rain
12 a.m.
FLCL
12:30 a.m.
Witch Hunter Robin
1 a.m.
Trigun
1:30 a.m.
Cowboy Bebop
Yay ^_^ Now I can see all the shows I missed. This rocks! I can't WAIT for April to start. I'm glad they finally decided to put Adult Swim on Saturdays. Although, it tok a while to do this. First they said they were, then they didn't, but now they do, and I am well over joyous!

Although, in AZ, AS will start at Midnight for me ;_; Which means I must waste my time with Toonami on Saturday Early evening *spits on Toonami* until AS starts. I hate time zones so much -_-

EDIT: Sorry for it being so long, hope this is better ^_^

Although this is great news to hear, could you please edit down your post along the lines mentioned in the rule linked above so it's not so long? Thanx. ^_^

Sweetness. This gives me a new reason to stay up on Saturday nights. By the way, are the Witch Hunter Robin episodes going to be new also?

There's only 26 episodes in the series, so once the initial run is complete, everything WHR will be reruns.

What is it with Cartoon Network getting short-lived anime? They ought to have more longer-term anime, like Inuyasha. Arigato, Dan-san, by the way. At least I know how much to expect of WHR now.

They've got Detective Conan, and I'm pretty sure that's a damn long series...
"Tell my tale to those who ask... tell it truthfully, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence..." last words of Dinobot, "Code of Hero"
"Is that a poisonous elephant in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" ~another forum
"Monster! I''''m going to collide with you indefinitely as my limbs flail wildly about!" ~NPC, Dragon Warrior VII
"I bet you were thinking how hot it would be to see Tsunade with her gates wide open, inviting you..." ~DuneMan
"To use gaming terms, Tyrannosaurus Rex was a camper--- and he pwned his prey!" ~BaronVonAwesome
"I prefer to beat my opponents the old-fashioned way: brutally!" ~Dinobot

I LIKE short lived anime. Because you see it through, and if you miss it, none to fret because repeats will start soon ^_^ I say never get a series that isn't finished in Japan yet -_- These long breaks like Inu Yasha have been, really suck. I would rather have something new than watch them get a shard, then lose it, then get it back, and then a new person comes. -_-;;;

It's a very long series ... according to the official website, March 15th saw episode number ... 355 aired. They are currently on their 13th OP and 19th ED.

ANN's site (click here) "only" lists the first 349 episodes, but all of the songs are there. Also, there have been 7 movies, with the 8th one set to come out in April.

I've never seen the series, but it must still be fairly popular to go this long.
