I've read the whole manga and love it to bits, but all I've seen of the anime is episode 1 and episode 71 (bizarrely enough). I'm looking forward to the DVDs ^-^ Even if I'll probably be an old man before Tokyopop finally gets round to releasing them.

I have all eight volumes and I think it was the best shojo story ever. I thought the ending was a teeny bit cheesy (soap opera-ish cheesy), but it was a great ending overall. I can't tell anymore without spoiling the whole ending for you! Anywaz, (next to Sailor Moon) it was my first shojo manga!

I've seen the first eight episodes of the anime, and skimmed through most of the manga. Still, I've heard a lot about this anime from another anime forum I'm on..

^^ I removed the link not because it was a plug, but because the only way you could read the alleged information was to register at that forum. This would be called a "shameless plug."

Who do you think is better for Miki, Yuu or Ginta? And why?

Me, I dunno. It'd be a house of chaos with Yuu...but I'm sure Miki's still a little nervous after that incident with Ginta. I haven't read my manga in a while so I'm not positive when Ginta tells Miki he loves her (And from what I remember he was practically stalking her...) but I think it could go either way. What do you guys think?

Me: This is coming from the kid who doesn't know what Viagra is!
Ko: It's cold medicine, right?
Our Group: NO!!!
Me: Can I just say?
Dylan: Sure, it's no weirder than what normally comes out of your mouth.
Me: (says what)
Ko: .....What's that?
Me: ......*starts crying*
Carley: STEVE! STEVE GET OVER HERE AND TELL KO WHAT VIAGRA DOES!
Steve: See, it's like this: The bridge goes up and the soldiers rush out....

Tiff: Aww, you killed someone for me. That's so sweet in a f***ed up sort of way!

I think Yuu is better for Miki. I don't like Ginta, basically, because of how he follows Miki around after the end of Manga volume one.
Plus, Miki and Yuu get together in the end of the series.
:)

I've read all 8 volumes, and I own 5 of them. I love it, love it, love it! ^_^ Meiko, Satoshi, Yuu, and Nachan are among my favorite characters.

I'm already satisfied enough with the manga. I won't be investing in the anime. :P

I own both the entire manga and entire anime series. I own all of the manga volumes and all of the anime episodes. They are both wonderful. I've read and watched them all, as well as the movie. I think both the anime and manga are great and they are both different but both great. Miki is great as the main character in Marmalade Boy. Miki is a wonderful character in both the anime and the manga. Miki is the coolest Marmalade Boy character. On the Ginta and Yuu debate, both Ginta and Yuu are wonderful characters. Ginta is a great character and Yuu is a great character. Oh yeah, the spoiler actually happens in the middle of the series. They, in the spoiler section, get together early on in the series. Originally, the story was going to be different. Originally different characters were going to be together, and Miki was going to be with someone different. Marmalade Boy's a nice series, I really like how a lot of the couples get together early on and all of the characters have a special someone.
