Anyone out there like this? It's suppose to come to the U.S. next April in mini boxsets.

I've never actually SEEN it, but I own six volumes of the manga and I _love_ it.

dammit! i have volumes 1-....4 right now. its so cute. but then all the ohter manga got in the way

but i will make it up with christmas ^.^ its really good. it better not come out in mini box sets or im pissed! why do they do that to me???

I didn't know it was coming in mini-boxsets. I already own the manga series. I love it, was soooo beautiful and a little frustrating. You know like when you want to whap some characters on the back of the head and tell them to stop being stupid.

I'm waiting for the anime series to be released hopefully someday in the not too distant future *crosses fingers and prays*

after reading everything I got confused as to whether it meant anime or manga. especially since manga is getting rereleased a lot lately in box sets. If that's the anime, then yes, I am soooo happy to hear that.

im not 100% sure, but i think i saw somehwre where it is getting liscensed for the anime. forgot who....hmm, i think it was somehwere on CCU

Yay! I wanna see the anime! I've read all of the manga, and I loved it! It was sooo heartwarming, and touching! I was crying, and laughing, and everything! Such a good story! Can't wait to see what the anime does to me!

EDIT: Forgot something. One thing I really want to see in the anime is Yuu. I want to hear how they pronounce his name. I wanna know if they say "I love you, you" or if they pronounce it a different way.

i cried too at some sad parts. i love it. i dont like the anime tho v_v loved the manga more. its like the exact same thing. which i dont like too much.

Tokyopop licensed it a long time ago. They were originally going to do it by volumes. The first was supposed to be out in October 2002. It never came. After the R2 boxes started coming out Tokyopop announced that they were going to do MB that way. They haven't said anything since.

I've never read the manga but I've seen the entire series and the movie via my old Tomodachi fansubs (good luck acquiring these if you try -- this was back during VHS fansubs and Tomodachi disbanded a long time ago. You'll need to find a distributor). Excellent, excellent series. I really hope Tokyopop does a good job with it. I doubt they'll do quite as well as Tomodachi did with their translations and huge amounts of linear notes, but I'll still likely buy it anyway. The old VHS tapes are dying... >_<

i dont really think tokyo pop is doing the anime. they might, im not sure, but i dont think they did.

I've read the entire manga, which I liked. I've seen a lot of episodes in random order online and I can not stand Miki in the anime. Yuu isn't even remotely cute either, opposed to the manga where he's a little cute. I don't like the anime that much.

TOKYOPOP will be releasing Marmalade Boy in 3 DVD, 18 episode "collectors sets," starting with volume 1 in April 2004.

Actually, box sets are usually cheaper than buying the DVDs one by one...
